IF YOU’RE READING THIS PLEASE COME STAY HERE! I was fortunate to meet a friend from Norway at a vipassana meditation retreat in America who had been here and told me about it. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had and a true gem of Nepal. Kamal, his wife Goma and family instantly welcomed me into their family. I had initially booked for 4 nights not sure what to expect and ended up staying for 12 and I really wanted to stay longer. This place attracts a certain kind of person and I met some beautiful new friends from America and Europe who I really bonded with over the 12 days. From the breathtaking hikes, truly authentic and homegrown meals, intimate meditation/yoga classes every morning and the most peaceful, idyllic atmosphere you could ever dream of, I’m already looking forward to coming back for a longer stay in the future.
