It is truly paradisiacal, nestled between flower meadows and marvellous mountains and forests. Every season has its own individual charms. The enchanting distant view of the lake and the marvellous mountain world will also make your heart beat faster. Our villa is situated directly above Lake Lucerne with a unique panoramic view of the lake and the mountains (Pilatus and Rigi) "Balm for the soul" The villa (155 m2) is attractively furnished. The kitchen and bathroom are equipped to a very high standard. The large sun terrace (45 m2, south-west facing) invites you to relax with its marvellous lake view, especially in the evening hours. And: A large jacuzzi/whirlpool with counter-current system is a dream for swimming and bathing. Relax in the warm bath and enjoy the distant view of the lake and the impressive mountains in the panorama (Pilatus, Bürgenstock and the Rigi). An experience at any time of day. A small biotope (pond and flowering meadow) borders directly on the terrace. As the house is at the end of a private road, it is extremely quiet. The house and the location are particularly child-friendly. The house has two bedrooms, each with a double bed. In addition, two more people can sleep on the new large sofa bed on the gallery. In total there are 6 comfortable beds. Last renovation / terrace extension in 2022. Two car parking spaces are available directly at the house. Included in the total price are the cleaning costs and the daily guest tax/tourist tax. The immediate and wider surroundings offer many opportunities for an active or relaxing holiday. Hiking, climbing, excursions to Lucerne and Altdorf, for example. Excursions on the unique steamboats across the beautiful Lake Lucerne will make your holiday a pleasure. The funicular railway takes you down to the shores of Lake Lucerne from Treib. The Treib-Seelisberg funicular railway is the oldest funicular railway in Switzerland, but is lovingly maintained and cared for. There are other mountain railways/cableways in the surrounding area. The alpine pastures and mountains are a paradise for hikers. There are numerous restaurants and shopping facilities in the village and the surrounding area. Our team will be happy to advise you before your arrival and during your stay in the beautiful Swiss mountains in the canton of Uri. Other bedroom furnishings (bedroom 1): New double bed with adjustable mattresses (automatic machines). Large built-in wardrobe. Balcony with marvellous view of Lake Lucerne and the opposite mountain, the Rigi. Other kitchen equipment (Kitchen1): Installation of the high-quality and spacious kitchen in 2022. A coffee machine for filter coffee is available. Sports facilities in the surrounding area: fishing, climbing, mountain biking, paragliding, cycling tours, tobogganing, skiing (alpine) Village description: Very friendly and clean village in a marvellous location. There are a variety of restaurants in the village and in the surrounding area. Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to charge electric vehicles. The Seelisberg tourist office has a guest card available for you as our guests, for a number of local discounts.

Iris and her family was very helpful during the stay. They live just on the opposite side of the street so we could contact her anytime in case we needed anything. They also registered us for local transport so we could use that very cost effectively. They have created luxury home with all the state of the art equipments and best of the products indoors and outdoors. Thank you very much Iris.

We loved our stay here! We were a group of 7, and there was more than enough space for all of us. We spent much time on the balconies which were both outfitted to seat the whole group- it was wonderful! We also enjoyed the lakeside trail that led us to the little town of Iseltwald and appreciated that it was such a short trip to get to Interlaken. Tetyana was a great host. She was very responsive to all of our messages, and when we noticed that the coffee machine was broken when we got there, she brought us a new one quickly. This was a wonderful stay!

Yvonne communicated with us often. Carmen met us at the house and explained everything about the house and area to us. We absolutely loved the house on 3 levels and amazing views from all 3 levels. The spa tub, sauna, and cold plunge were the icing on the cake. There is so much to do in Vitznau/Mt Rigi Spa/Ferry around the lake, and so much more. We will stay here again, soon!

Wunderschöne Sicht auf den See und das gegenüberliegende Ufer Richtung Blumenberg. Ideal sind nicht nur der grosse Garten und das vielfältige Angebot für draussen (Boote, SUPs, etc.) sondern auch die gut ausgerüstete Küche. Top-Sauberkeit im ganzen Haus. Kleiner Wehrmutstropfen war die nahe gelegene Autobahn. Danke an die Top-Hosts Chantal und Familie für den angenehmen Aufenthalt in der See-Villa.

Ray's has an amazing special hostel and it's truly great to stay here! I stayed for only one night, but when I came in, I was instantly greeted and given a tour of the house which is very luxurious! It was great meeting the other people staying there and the view in the morning is truly amazing! I will definitely come back next time I stay in Switzerland!

Hosts are very helpful understanding and kind. You can ask anything with them. Maggie showed me the house and she is warm-hearted. Rainer is interesting and responsible. And the guests was all Americans, they invited me to play games, which is very fun and they were very nice and friendly. I recommend those want to make friends or travel pals to try this. And it is so worth it. Love you guys!

Oasis of peace with stunning view of Lake Lucerne

This place was perfect for our family. There are two separate entrances so one room is private from the other two. The views are AMAZING. It does require some coordination if you want to go into town as the train only runs about every hour, but we found the surroundings well worth the effort. The hot tub was so nice in the evenings, just plan to start the fire early as it takes a bit to heat up. Also HIGHLY recommend getting farm fresh eggs/milk/butter. It was super reasonable and so convenient to have it dropped at the house. Host were also very communicative which I appreciated. Overall, I would highly recommend this place if you want peace and gorgeous surroundings.
