For someone who places great importance on the energy of spaces, I can say that René's studio immediately gave me a feeling of "home" in my first phase of settling in Dakar. The space is well decorated and beautiful in its simplicity. The kitchen is shared with Rene and his family, but I didn't feel uncomfortable because they made me feel at ease right away. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a connection with a host and to be located in a lively little neighborhood.

Wonderful stay at Valerie's house on the island of Ngor! The place is charming and well equipped (fridge + electricity with solar panels + barbecue) with a large living room and a beautiful garden that has a spacious and airy terrace. The city center is easy to access by taxi + canoe (the connections are regular and to order) and the pollution or heat is less felt on the island because there is a little wind (very pleasant, especially in the evening! +++) Valerie is a very welcoming host who made sure our stay went as smoothly as possible. The caretaker of the house on site is a Senegalese with whom we have linked a real bond of friendship. He makes sure the house lacks nothing and helped us find good places and weekend ideas. We are very happy to have chosen this accommodation and highly recommend it! Theophile Pajot

We loved our stay at Mariane’s home. She was very flexible and responsive to our questions and travel changes. The house was quiet and well-maintained. Ndeye was a lovely housekeeper who was thoughtful, kind and kept the place in beautiful condition. Ouakam is also a nice area - a safe neighborhood where we felt right at home.

I highly recommend Château de Sable to anyone. The property is very cool, with a nice garden and terraces. The apartment is very clean and has everything you need. The onsite staff are kind and helpful. My stay was very easy and pleasant. Sicaps Baobab is also a great Dakar neighborhood; it is a vibrant, close-knit community. Also, Marie-Louise is very responsive and helpful. I arrived in Dakar two days later than expected, and Marie-Louise worked with me to adjust my reservation on short notice.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Indigo House. The property was clean, well maintained, and beautifully decorated. The neighborhood felt safe and house was convenient to a main road, but was far enough away to be quiet.

Hello I spent extraordinary days in Bamba's house. It is a quiet and warm place the locals are welcoming, kind and pleasant as its owner, The place is idyllic, Other things at night you have an incredible view of the terrace an extraordinary view and especially no noise I enjoyed relaxing on this terrace at night. As far as the owner Bamba is concerned, this generous and kind-hearted gentleman I am happy to know him, I invite you this recommendation. See you soon baobab.

La Rose des Sables is an excellent place to stay in central downtown Dakar. This was my second time to stay in this spacious, well-equipped and well-located apartment with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable, which both of my stays here very much were. Alain was a very responsive, communicative and helpful host, attentive to any needs that arose. I look forward to returning to La Rose des Sables during future visits to Dakar.

Awa and very responsive, she responded quickly to my requests. The only downside, but which has nothing to do with Awa, is the pool which from our arrival was out of use for works. We were able to enjoy it 2 days out of 10, Awa did not hesitate to make a gesture for this inconvenience. Clean accommodation and the person managing the apartment was very professional, very responsive. We were able to enjoy the gym right next to the rooftop pool with incredible views of the city and ocean. I recommend it without problem.

This place exceeded my expectations. It has the feel of an upscale American Appartement, and the service truly stood out. The concierge team, especially Traoré and his team, were fantastic—friendly, professional, and always helpful. The experience was renter-first, very much like American-style hospitality. You absolutely get what you pay for—it's worth every penny. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

We had a great time at Bineta's place. As soon as we arrived, we felt right at home. The decor is neat and warm, the bedding is particularly comfortable and everything is very clean. The terrace is also a real plus. There are supermarkets nearby, the bus is also a 5 minute walk away and otherwise taxis run regularly. Finally, Bineta is always full of good advice and available. She helped us several times (arrival in the middle of the night delayed by a flight delay, recommendations for tailors...) We recommend this listing without hesitation!

The apartment is very clean, beautiful, close to everything and easy to find. The neighborhood is safe and the guard is vigilant and very caring. Special thanks to Mr. René who welcomed my us and took special care of us. At the arrival to the apartment we found fresh drinks and also helped paid some part of the electricity fees. I deeply recommend and my mother and sisters are very happy staying in this magnificent place. We will come back again and again.

I had a great stay at Sidi's place. I was initially planning to stay just one week before moving elsewhere, but I ended up staying the full two weeks. The apartment is spacious, well-lit, and has everything you need. It’s on a quiet street but still close to the main roads. The office space was a big plus, perfect for the occasional conference call I had to take. Definitely a perle rare. Strong recommendation for Sidi, who was a great host throughout. Until next time!

Nabasa's wife also speaks English, so communication was so much easier for us. The location was good, it's right by a market. The apartment was clean and bright.

when I was looking for the place I made it very quick and I got confused because I was looking for 2h and the apartment was 1h. The Host got me to offer an additional room to solve it and so I had time to look for another option. Finally we adapt and thank Makhou his kindness.

Aida's apartment was ideal for our stay. The house, located in an easily accessible area, with everything you need around for a full day. The beach, located just a few minutes away, increases the charm of the area, thus facilitating a well-made vacation. As for Aida, we couldn't have had a better host, attentive, available, proactive, her presence was very helpful during our trip. This place is 100% recommended
