About 3 km the other way along the coast is Nexø, Bornholm's second largest town, which has plenty of shopping, clothing stores and lovely cafes and restaurants overlooking the harbor. 200 meters from the house there is a bike rental and bus stop, so you can easily get around the island.

In the vacation park, there is an outdoor pool (approximately from mid-June to mid-September), an indoor pool and sauna (approximately from Easter to autumn vacations) as well as a gym with table tennis, table soccer and various board games (open all year round). There is also a tennis court and a playground with picnic benches.
