Waimairi Beach, a delightful sanctuary to relax in

A beautiful residential house located by the beach that has a self contained luxury apartment on the ground floor with your Airbnb hosts living upstairs. A quick walk leads you directly to the beach with many walking/mountain biking tracks. Only 90 minutes drive to local ski fields. There is a TV, Netflix, WIFI and off street parking. You have your own entrance and privacy, a spa to soak in and your own courtyard to watch the sunset. Comes with a friendly dog too! The above-garage studio unit is accessed via external stairs. It is walking distance to New Brighton Village centre, one block from the beach, and a 15 minute drive to Christchurch City centre. Thank you to Marie for the lovely two-night stay. The house was cozy, clean, and located in a peaceful area. Marie was very welcoming and friendly, and we especially enjoyed the company of her two enthusiastic and lovable dogs — they greeted us warmly every time we came back! Their energy and affection really added to the charm of our stay. We felt right at home and would love to return someday.

Denise’s place was absolutely wonderful! She has put so much love and thought into every detail, making it feel like a true home away from home. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely comfortable, and she was instantly warm and welcoming. She was always available to answer any questions and made check-in and check-out super flexible. Her thoughtful touches—like cute little signs with explanations and a folder full of great local recommendations—made everything so easy. The accommodation had everything I needed, including laundry facilities and even the option to have breakfast. On top of all that, she went out of her way to be helpful and even gave me a spontaneous ride into town. Denise is truly kind, accommodating, and an exceptional host. I can’t recommend her place enough.

I had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly responsive — every question I had was answered almost immediately. Check-in was smooth and easy, and I truly appreciated how quiet the home was despite being shared with a lovely family of five. Everyone was respectful and welcoming, and the environment felt calm and comfortable throughout. The host was also very flexible and understanding when I experienced an unexpected incident that delayed my checkout. He went out of his way to accommodate me, which I’m truly grateful for. I highly recommend staying here — great hospitality and a peaceful atmosphere.
