Even though it is located in the city centre, the neighbourhood is very peaceful and quiet, especially in the evening and during the night. The apartment is perfect for a city-trip and expats looking to stay in Ghent for several weeks or months.

Dit betreft een volledig alleenstaande woning op het zelfde stuk grond als onze huidige verblijfplaats. De recent gerenoveerde woning is uniek door zijn ligging (op een boogscheut van Gent), omgeving (in een oase van rust en groen) en door zijn karakter (een landelijke woning met alle toebehoren). Bovendien bevinden wij ons hier in een prachtige fiets en wandelroute en op 5 minuten van de Leie. Cultuur is hier ook aanwezig op wandelafstand. Denk maar aan het Kasteel van Ooidonk.

Equipped with sleeping area, compact kitchen (with basic equipment such as combi-microwave, cooking utensils, dolce gusto), wood-fired private barrel sauna with panoramic view, wood-fired BBQ with accessories, a basic package of wood (paying additional wood), bathroom with shower, toilet, ecological care products, bed linen and towels.

Oasis of tranquillity for hikers, bicyclists and nature lovers, where pets are more than welcome. (a bit difficult for bigger dogs, there are stairs to climb) Situated along cycle route 70, in the middle of nature and yet close to the historical cities of Ghent, Bruges, Courtrai and Antwerp. Enjoy the fresh country air! In our street you can hear chickens cluck, donkeys bray and there are even sheep, cows and only kind people.

There is a separate entrance, where you end up in a hall. A few stairs will take you to the bedroom, living room, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Part of the garden is available. Bikes can be salvaged in the garden house and/or garage. On request, your electric car can also be charged via its own charging station, subject to reimbursement of the costs.
