Vacation rentals with lake access in Neuchâtel

We had a pleasant stay in Portalban; close to beaches, 3 lakes, hiking; and ideal starting point for visiting many remarkable Swiss sites (Gruyères, Le Creux du Van, Avenches, Morat, Bern, Solothurn, La Chaux-de-Fond...) The cottage is quiet, close to nature; (we often had a visit from a fox); on the edge of the marsh. Philipp was a kind and attentive host to us. We recommend this property. Sylvain and Elisabeth

Our stay at this wonderful house was absolutely incredible, exceeding all expectations. The house is not only extremely comfortable but also even better than the photos suggest. Every single detail has been thoughtfully considered, making it a truly well-equipped and inviting home. We spent two wonderful weeks here and felt completely at home from the moment we arrived. The amenities, cleanliness, and cozy atmosphere made our stay effortless and enjoyable. Gary, is outstanding—responsive, generous, and genuinely kind. Very nice house in quiet surroundings. You feel comfortable right away. Cozy balcony and garden to linger outside. When we came home, we were always expected and welcomed by the two lovely cats. We recovered wonderfully.

It is a gorgeous and very calm place to stay. It looks exactly like the pictures! Lake is nearby, you can reach after 10 min walk, also very clean and well maintained, water is very clear, perfect for families with children. I can only recommend it! Hopefully we can spend some nice days there again ☺️🥂

We enjoyed the quaint, cozy chalet very much. The garden is amazing! We were allowed to help ourselves to the fresh fruit in the garden. When we needed support, Benny helped us immediately. There was only one small downside. The sofa bed was made up for us in the living room. It took a little getting used to and the sleeping comfort was not particularly good. We would prefer a real bed. All in all, however, a top place to stay.

Charming apartment with large terrace, very tasteful and lovingly furnished. We enjoyed the view of the adjacent horse paddock and the beautiful nature in the immediate vicinity, the sauna and the really charming hosts. Thank you for the relaxing stay!

We were allowed to spend a few wonderful days in Tanja's enchanting studio over Lake Murten – a true oasis of peace and inspiration. The studio is not only tastefully furnished and with a lot of love for detail, but is also located in the middle of a beautiful garden that invites you to linger, marvel and slow down. Tanja is an exceptionally warm and attentive hostess who makes you feel welcome and in good hands from the very first moment. Her family also enriched our experience with their open and helpful nature – especially the valuable garden tips of her son impressed us. It was a wonderful break that we enjoyed to the fullest. This little gem has won our hearts – we will definitely be back!

Great location, very nicely decorated, perfect for a family with small children thanks to the cute children's room.

Excellent 3 day stay to visit Neuchâtel and surroundings. The house is very well located to see the charming Gorges de l 'Areuse, the spectacular Creux du Van, the port and beaches of Marin Epagnier where the fauna and flora will amaze you, the city center of Neuchâtel and its castle, its port, the incredible panoramic tower of Chaumont, and 2 min walk to the romantic Pavillon des Bains and the pretty port of St Aubin. The accommodation is perfect both in terms of cleanliness and surface and decor, bedding, interior design, quiet environment...small downside: the GPS makes you arrive 50 m away and the squeaky parquet flooring. Very accommodating host for check-in and check-out and very kind. Book without hesitation.

Nice little apartment, very convenient to accommodate the family who come to visit us for the weekend. Compliant with photos, very good communication with Florence.

Staying with Maurizio is like being hosted by a good old friend! He is open and available to support his guests. The apartment is very convenient and there is everything needed. It is also well placed to reach town, the station and by car the motorway leading to plenty of beautiful places in the Region and in Switzerland. Thanks for the hospitality. We will come back!

Very well-equipped accommodation, it has everything you need to cook, with a beautiful terrace! The stadium is a little loud during games or training but it didn't bother us. Possible to walk to the lake or city center

Had a great stay with the family

Great place to stay. Bolia was great to deal with. Even though we didn't speak each others languages we could communicate via Airbnb, Whats App and text messages easily. The combination of an old building and modern but not too modern interior was fantastic. Really peaceful and comfortable. Across the road from the chocolate factory but couldn't hear any noise. Nice walk up to Broc for the Coop, bakery etc. for supplies. Easy bus journey to Gruyere and the H R Giger museum and bar etc.

Very nice place and wonderful house

We have already stayed with Paloma in the chalet twice and we liked it very much and felt comfortable! We can recommend the chalet and the location is great! Unfortunately, we had to take a mattress with us again this year because our children are too small to sleep alone on the upper floor as it is only accessible via an external staircase! A warm beach cottage with a beautiful private garden. The cottage is beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you might need for holidays with children. On foot you are in max. 10 minutes on the beautiful beach of Gletterens.

The Bijou is something very special at the Mortensee. The location is superb, the lake is beautiful and the Bijou comes with its own jetty Just perfect

We were allowed to enjoy 5 days in this great accommodation. The place is clean and you feel at home. The garden was a little paradise. The host is very friendly and responds very quickly. In a few minutes you can reach the beautiful Lake Murten.
