The accommodation is a privately accessed self contained studio space in the basement of a family home. The Studio opens onto a south facing garden with mature trees. There is a covered patio space. We are at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and parking is available on street. Nether Edge is a pleasant suburb less than 3 miles from the city centre which has good local cafes, shops and pubs. It is well served by public transport with buses into town and out into the Peak District of Derbyshire.

Eva is such a lovely host, so helpful, friendly and full of personality which is reflected in her house! It really feels like you are staying in a home and not a soulless airbnb. I had a very pleasant and peaceful stay at Lucy and Michael's place. By chance it was just around the corner from a great little cafe where I went to watch some folk music one evening. I was in Sheffield to visit a friend who was having a party, which was great, and I also had a very pleasant morning walk and a lovely potter around the local shops. When I arrived at the house, Michael was very welcoming and friendly. The room was peaceful and calm at the top of the house and had great views out over the local area. The bed was very comfy. I felt able to ask for help when I needed it and Lucy and Michael were generous, kind and very helpful.
