if your ever out in Carleton place they all say the Mississippi dripped off of Big Joe's face and also Scott has the best airbnb in the area! had a wonderful stay. went to Ottawa for the hockey playoffs and I had car trouble, Scott allowed me to use his truck since I had car trouble! absolutely above and beyond in all aspects. so generous and so thankful I stayed here. hot tub was so relaxing, and the loft style home is great for all -kids, guys, girls but is a gamers paradise especially if you grew up in the 80s and 90s! don't look further than Scotts place in Carleton place! I felt like family! 😆😊 incredibly thankful for Scott's generosity and I will be back anytime I'm out that way. This host and place shatters the 5 star scale just too bad we didn't win the game or would of been the perfect getaway. cheers Scott! you are the man!

Great place! 4 adults, 3 children. We skied at Camp Fortune 3 days and visited a museum on the fourth. Pictures describe the place very well. Kids played in the huge backyard. We also went for a 2 hour walk on a trail nearby. It’s a house with character, and can be a bit draughty in some places, and also is unevenly heated. That was our only issue. Nice showers and bathrooms. Comfy beds. Good lighting. Kitchen is well-stocked and spacious. Mud room large and convenient. We would definitely return. Thank you!

Our family complely enjoyed Erin's generously sized house. The indoor pool was one of the amenities that really drew us, and it didnt disappoint! Beautiful, warm, clean and the entire pool area was welcoming and comfortable. Besides that there are so many other activites; these are shown accurately in the photos. The adults enjoyed the pool table area very much in the evenings. Though we never got to using the home theatre, it was a very unique and appealing space. In general all was in good repair in this home. We loved the comfy beds and pristine linen. The kitchen was well thought out and very organized, with plenty of pots, dishes, glasses soap etc. This was a great locating to bring the family together. We would love to return again!

This is a custom house with a very unique layout with direct riverfront access in a private neighbourhood. 5 beds (I believe 3 kings 2 queens), two dining areas, large kitchen and a centralized living space. Games room (pool, table tennis) above the double garage with parking for multiple vehicles (easily 5) on two separate driveways. Large sauna in the basement (it gets quite hot), and a very clean (and comfortable) hot tub on the first floor facing the river. We had a group of 7 and had no issues stretching out after a ski trip. Sound insulation of the house is excellent. Heated floors available in all the bathrooms and what appears to be most of the house. Two of the bedrooms did not have window shades. Dr. Brown was very accommodating with a later checkout time, and is very easy to talk to. This is a very unique airbnb experience.

Place was fantastic. Very spacious and very clean, made for a great experience for everyone. There was plenty of space for everyone to get together and lots of space to everyone have their own area when needed as well. Nothing was too far either so the location is very good as we went every direction around this house. Was well worth every penny!

The house was beautiful and clean. The host was very responsive and accommodating. The place was near EY Centre and close to lots of amenities. Highly recommended.

I love the smart lock new technology & home heater system. The Home is beautiful and bright, all rooms dark enough to sleep longer with black out shaders (curtains). I hope to stay longer next time soon!

Anees was a great host. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He was quick to respond to any inquiries and friendly to deal with. We had to extend our stay due to a snowstorm and Anees was kind enough to accommodate that request. His home is clean and packed with amenities. We had a group of 10 people who came to Ottawa for a business conference, and we were all happy with the decision to stay at Anees’ property.

I had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described clean, cozy, and in a great location. The host was super responsive and provided super clear instructions. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Wonderful. Beautiful home, and lovely family to welcome you! Highly recommend. I booked this Airbnb super last minute due to a family member in hospital nearby - one of the days I even walked to the hospital and back. Very beautifully designed space - charming apartment located at the back of the hosts home. Very clean, equipped with everything you may need. Charming neighbourhood, with the most beautiful garden outside your big picture windows. My 6 month old son enjoyed the morning birds, and even spotting little rabbits. Great location, short drive to downtown. It’s the best option while in Ottawa, many many thanks I would definitely book this Airbnb again.

Loved our stay at Ash’s place - place was exactly as described and the location was perfect with everything we needed to do and wanted to see within walking distance. Having a dedicated parking spot was also awesome. Thanks so much!

Adam is a great host, very proactive and responsive. This is a private, secluded home and very quiet. Nice not hearing people above you!!!! The bed is extremely comfortable as are the sofa and chair in the living room. Very spacious! I highly recommend this place.

I recently stayed at 891 Ralph Hennessy Ave and had a wonderful experience. The host was exceptionally communicative, responding promptly and courteously to every question. The neighborhood is incredibly peaceful, making it easy to relax after a busy day exploring. The property is conveniently located, with clear directions and ample parking for stress‑free arrival. Inside, you’ll find every amenity you could need—kitchenware, linens, and appliances all in excellent condition—and the space matches the listing description perfectly.

Here’s what you get: a very well stocked kitchen with Nespresso, Ninja blender, lots of pots and pans. A couple sets of dishes, full spice rack, oil, etc. Also lots of towels, plenty of paper products, and laundry supplies. It was just me so I can’t speak to the beds in the other bedrooms but the bed in the main bedroom is very comfortable (it’s also quite high so may be an issue if you’re short). Huge TV with cable and streaming services. Area is walkable and there is a playground nearby. Decor is fine - contemporary and pretty comfy. Esther is SUPER responsive and helpful. The house is in the suburbs so, while you can walk in the neighborhood, (yes, sidewalks) you can’t walk to restaurants or services. House is starting to show its age, a little, but it’s fine. I stayed 4 weeks (solo traveller) and would recommend it if you are looking for a 3 bedroom place south of Ottawa.

Shams was very responsive amd very accommodating. We had to change the date for our stay multiple times as we had a fire in our home and the work ended up taking longer. The house was so cozy. Our whole family enjoyed it. The house is so bright with tons of natural light coming in. Super clean! The counter space is amazing! It was fun to cook there. Wpuld highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone!

Great home with lots of space. Friends and I were in Ottawa for a training, and we were able to walk through the park to Carleton University everyday (about 35 minutes). Kareem was responsive and friendly, and I would stay again! The only thing I found less than ideal was the knife selection - there wasn’t really a sharp one, but we managed!

We absolutely loved our stay at Foujan’s place. The place was pristine and homey. We liked having the rules and advices printed out and accessible. We’re looking forward to coming back!

Manon’s place was great! We six ladies spent the day at the Nordik Spa, then relaxed in this sweet, cozy home. It is very close to the spa, and there are great restaurants also walking distance. We had every kitchen amenity we could think of needing, and then some. Beds and linens were very comfortable, and bathrooms well appointed. I highly recommend Manon’s place, wonderful stay!

Vadim's place is the best air b n b that I have ever stayed at. He is the most welcoming and considerate host. He is communicative and caring. I have stayed several times at this air b n b because of how clean and professional the house looks, and the beautiful location. I sleep like a baby there, I love the personal touches of snacks, plant based milk, delicious coffees and teas, and water bottles. The kitchen is totally kitted out which I love because I like to cook and the ambiance is so relaxing and comfortable. Vadim's place is a home away from home and a place to either get lots of work done or tuck away from the busy world. I often walk to the sailing club and the forest by the river. So beautiful all year 'round.
