We had a lovely week in Crete. The accommodation was beautifully presented with great amenities. The perfect balance of the privacy of your own villa with the benefits of a small resort. Poppy and Alexandros were extremely helpful and accommodating - thank you for a lovely stay.

We felt very comfortable right from the start and were completely satisfied with the accommodation. In addition to the wonderful terrace with a fantastic view, the accommodation has a very good location. You can reach restaurants, supermarkets and the beach within a few minutes. We are always happy to come back. :)

Breathtaking views! Do you want a clean and beautiful place to stay? Then you've come to the right place! 🤩 The accommodation is modern, clean and well equipped. The outdoor area is just perfect, great seating, mega pool also for kids and with the spa whirlpool just a paradise! Not to forget this beautiful view of the sunset 🤩 Not only is the accommodation perfect, but the hosts, Maria and Savas, are also great hosts! Friendly and courteous, and always available! They brought toys for my son and despite the fierce challenge with the Sahara dust, they did everything to make sure we can enjoy our vacation 100% 😊 We are already looking forward to our next visit to Crete and to Maria 🥰 Thank you for everything!

Absolutely perfect! Brilliant property and brilliant host. Despina was so lovely, gave us great recommendations and she even left us some food in the fridge for breakfast because of our late flight. We enjoyed our stay here so much! Wow what a stunning home with the most amazing views and amenities. It was hard to want to leave to do anything else but enjoy the property! We loved the pool area with so many nice loungers and comfy seating. The outdoor bar was lovely and we had so much fun playing pickleball! The beds were so comfy and the kitchen very spacious. Jerry provided us with nice touches to get us started before getting to the market. And Aggeliki was extremely communicative prior to and during our stay. We felt completely at home and can’t say enough good things about this place!

Our family of five had an unforgettable stay here! The home was spotless, beautifully restored, and had everything we needed. The village is incredibly picturesque, the locals were kind, and the overall hospitality was second to none. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach or exploring nearby attractions. The pool was a huge hit with our kids, and the views of the mountains and sea were stunning. What made it truly special were our hosts—Kostas and Nantia went above and beyond. They arranged a meal for our late arrival and offered fantastic local tips that made our trip even better. We felt genuinely welcomed and well cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommend! Did I mention how gorgeous the home is…

I already miss this house. It’s like a fairytale cottage. So many cute little spaces indoors and out. Character and charm! It’s old with stone steps and some low doorways, so don’t be clumsy. Our hosts were hospitable and kind. We felt right at home. There are many flowers, herbs and trees. Unforgettable.

Beautiful location and the hosts were so helpful throughout our stay

This is the kind of place you'll never forget. Wow wow wow! The view is really great; in the green, between the rocks overlooking the sea. There is no one around and you really have a cottage to yourself and that on a very beautiful piece of Crete. It is smart to do groceries on the way (in the kitchen you will find everything to cook and there is a barbecue), because a large supermarket is almost half an hour's drive and the tavern in the village is great for the day, but in the evening you do not want to take that dark route on loose stones (that road is anyway getting used to, but to do). Do you feel like checking out for a few days? Then this is really the place. We will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay in Aptera. The location was perfect; close to Chania and an easy drive to other locations in western Crete but still rural, quiet, and private. There's an incredible view of the mountains right out of the front door. Mihalis was really friendly and gave us many local recommendations. We highly recommend a stay here!

We had an awesome time at Nikos’s place, he gave very useful tips and his apartment is at walking distance from everything in Matala(as the village is very small). As mentioned in other posts, there are quite a few steps to the place but you get used to it, and it’s a great workout after a big dinner in one of the restaurants below. One of the days it was too windy to be on the beach so we stayed on the terrace of the accommodation with a great view of the sea, the sound of the waves and privacy from others. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Thank you Nikos!

Electra was just amazing. We met her close to the apartment and she brought us there to do the check-in in with us. She is super friendly and shared some recommendations with us. The place is as described, it has everything needed for a few days. The garden and the spot under the olive tree are beautiful to have breakfast or read. Note: you will need a car to get there, but it is just a short drive to some restaurants and supermarkets. It was a really great stay and a good location to explore the west of Crete and its beaches.

It's a dream come true! This place was just perfect – from the amenities to the loving furnishings to the warm hospitality of Ksenia and Giannis. Everything is high-quality, tasteful and designed with so much attention to detail that you feel comfortable and welcome from the first moment. A real highlight was the terrace with a breathtaking view of the sea – waking up in the morning with the sound of the waves, ending the day in the evening with this panorama... priceless! Particularly beautiful was the proximity to the cozy tavern, which is run by the host family. There is the same warm, open atmosphere as in the accommodation. We spent wonderful evenings there with delicious traditional, regional Greek cuisine, live music and a lot of cordiality. A place we think back to with a smile – and a place we definitely want to come back to. A thousand thanks for everything!

Eleftherios is a very likeable, helpful and great host! The little house mostly well shaded in the middle of an olive grove. You can pick mulberries from the terrace, a little further there are fresh oranges and lemons. The accommodation is not only beautiful, but also very well thought out. In addition to the good insulation, where a short use of the air conditioning cools accordingly, the fly screen in front of the large bedroom window, the Bluetooth box, the large terrace with a beautiful view of the olive grove, it is the small, well-considered things that simply give pleasure. Starting with sharp, small knives, mosquito repellent, coffee, detergent, good shower gel, orange press, good cooking utensils... We will be back, no question!

We had a wonderful two weeks at this rental. Sthatis and Alexandra were fantastic hosts, very responsive and accommodating. The house is exactly like the photos (minus the hanging chairs- but they were not missed). It is ade up of two separate apartments each with 2 bedrooms. It is well equipped and gets the most beautiful sunsets, perfect for an evening barbeque . If you wish to explore the island you will definitely need a car but it is wonderfully located between many of the islands attractions and accessible from both airports. The lovely maid (whose name I cannot remember- sorry!) attended twice. We had some unusual weather while we were there, including a sandstorm which coated the entire area in dust, but Stathis and Alexandra had organised the following day to have the outdoor areas cleaned and the pool water serviced so that we could use the facilities, which we were very impressed by. Overall it was a fantastic choice and we would recommend it to anybody considering staying

We had a lovely stay at Nikos’ place in Rodovani. It’s well off the beaten path and we particularly enjoyed the tranquil setting in a small mountain village on the south coast. Nikos greeted us although we arrived well after midnight. There is a lovely village store right across the town square and good tavernas close by. Plenty of hiking options around and the sea only 15 min away. The house is renovated tastefully and we particularly enjoyed the big terrace overlooking the valley and mountains.

The little house was exactly as described, well equipped and perfect for couples for a sunny break. The pool was amazing and the rooftop terrace afforded us the most spectacular sunset views! the location is private and peaceful, whilst remaining a sensible distance to shops and fantastic restaurants. We would definitely recommended to others and return ourselves. Thanks Leo!

Beautiful mountain retreat, quiet and peaceful. Place is a bit darker inside than photos but was comfortable and clean. Sitting by the pool in the morning was a delight - we were very at home here. Lovely to arrive to a bottle of wine in the fridge. Lots of winding roads to get here, but nice to be away from the hustle and bustle.
