After our 13-hour flight, this place was just right for us. Exhausted from the trip, the bathtub with massage jets was the best we could expect and I have never been able to find a more comfortable bed in an accommodation. Unfortunately, we were only guests for two nights, but we can still highly recommend the accommodation. Nearby there are various restaurants, which are easy to manage even with a language barrier. In addition, there is a Kombini store just around the corner, which offers everything you need on the go. Our host Yoshinori inquired about our arrival time before our arrival in order to preheat the accommodation in advance, as it was unfortunately quite cold on our arrival day. So we expected a perfectly tempered accommodation with all the amenities we needed for our first vacation days.

Heap of room to spread out and relax. Lots of games for the kids - they had fun on the mini pool table. Very clean & comfortable with all the basics you need. A great location close to the centre of town and an easy walk to the station. Heaps of restaurants, shops & supermarkets near by. The hosts were fantastic to deal with and went out of their way to help us.

Great house with everything you need. Very comfortable beds and warm blankets. Clear instructions for everything. Walking distance to many things although not many restaurants right nearby but only short drive away. Really loved our stay here - it was perfect for 5 of us.

Ian was a great host. He was always responsive and helpful and even provided us with some breakfast ingredients due to our late arrival. The house itself is beautiful, clean and very cozy. Greatly recommend this place and hope to return myself!

Thank you for your help this time.It was on a hill with a great view of the city and the sea a little further on.Also, a new bench was installed, and I had a relaxing time watching the sunset and spending a relaxing time.The room was clean, and the garden was well maintained, and it was really nice.I really like that you can have a BBQ and a fire.

It was a very beautiful accommodation. It was well cleaned, and it was nice to have a karaoke room in the basement. The location was close to the sea in front of the river and rich in nature, but there was a convenience store within walking distance, and we had a comfortable stay.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay for 3 nights. Location is fantastic, a short 8 min walk to the JR Nikko train station, which is the starting point for most local buses and the direct shuttle bus to Edo Wonderland. The house is located in a quiet area with trees behind and lovely views of the mountains from the upstairs bedrooms. It is a 15 min walk to the main restaurant area, however we usually just grabbed food at the nearby convenience store for dinner. One night we ate at the nearby Hanamusubi Izakaya - would highly recommend. The house was quite spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Bathroom and kitchen are well equipped with modern facilities. The sitting room was peaceful to relax in. Heaters in each room were great for the cold mornings! Michele was a wonderful host, he was very friendly and helpful - we were glad we got a chance to meet him in person at check in. Clear check-in instructions were provided and there is the ability to pre-store luggage.

This is your first stay on Airbnb. I had trouble staying in a large group of men's friends, and this place was where I found it. Thank you very much for responding to various questions and check-in time, etc. It will also be used for large groups traveling in Ibaraki.

Thank you for the great hospitality the other day🙇‍♀️ We received very polite communication from the time of booking, and were quick and flexible when check-in on the same day was delayed!(Even letters and sightseeing magazines were prepared😭) I also provided a lot of information about the surrounding area, and I also used a nearby hot spring facility.♨️ Well-equipped, private spaces The stars looked very beautiful at night💫 We would definitely like to stay again! Amazing historical house. It's not for everyone but it's fascinating to see how people would've lived back then! Host was amazing as well. Left way more snacks and drinks than I could finish, and offered lots of great advice for the area, and always checking up on me to ensure I am comfortable!

It was my first Airbnb, so I was curious about the difference between it and a hotel, but the whole room was clean and we had a pleasant time.The living room has a high ceiling and feels very open! The property was on a small road a little off the main street, so the surroundings were very quiet and the sounds of nature were pleasant. Also, we were lucky enough to see the cherry blossoms in the garden from the living room.You can also enjoy the fireplace in the living room during the cold winter months! There were several restaurants nearby, including a delicious bagel shop, and we enjoyed walking around. There were four bedrooms, so I think it would be nice for four households who get along to gather and stay on the weekend!I was happy that there was a toilet on the 1st and 2nd floors. I'd love to stay again when I travel to Nasu!
