Riverview Homestay Lamjung

ThibautRating, 5 stars61 months ago
Great location in Northern Lakeside, 5 min walking to more noisy Lakeside Center. Cafés, restaurants, Garden Movie nearby. Amazing staff, food and great view. I was there during the beginning of the Covid-19 out-break, had to change plane etc. The staff was really helping. Eventhough I didn't have the chance to meet Lee, he was very available via messages and was worried of our comfort. If you're staying for a few days or a couple of months, and you want to be in a more qui "roots" neighbourhood, you should really consider LakeSide Boutique Hotel!

SOSA Bed & Restaurant

Himal’s accommodation is one of its kind in Pokhara, it’s a secluded little paradise with the best views of the Pokhara mountains and the Fewa lake, we spent a lot of time at the property instead of going out, you just need to sit outside your cabin and soak in the lovely views with no outside noise or disturbances. The main market is just a 5 min drive away. Along with the beauty of the stay, Himal is an exceptional host who is very humble, kind and always available for any help you need during your stay. I will definitely stay at this place the next time I visit Pokhara.

Bethshalom Homestay and Guesthouse

I had an amazing time staying with Milan. Milan really makes sure you become a part of her family. They are warm and generous - happy to chat with you as much or as little as you want. I only stayed a few nights but feel I got to know them really well and hung out with them a lot. For a tourist, it’s a great way to experience Nepal and understand it better than you otherwise would. Milan provides two meals a day; one of these is a delicious dinner that is better than any Nepali food you can find in Pokhara’s restaurants! Milan’s homestay is located in the “real” Pokhara (i.e. where locals actually live), so it is ideal if you want to experience a true flavour of a Nepali city. Having said that, transport links to the more touristy lakeside are good: Milan’s family will always be happy to book you a taxi, you can take a direct bus, or download the excellent Patau app (a sort of Nepali Uber that offers taxis and cheaper scooters) if you have a Nepali SIM card. Milan has a washing machine which guests are free to use. This is ideal if you have a longish stay in Pokhara, or if you are going to/returning from a trek. Reliably hot showers are another bonus. The house itself and the room you will be staying are really nice and comfortable. I would highly recommend Milan’s homestay - I will never forget my time with her and hope to be back soon. Thank you Milan!

Serenity in the Mountains/ Birdsong & Sunrise View

We loved our stay at methlang apartment! From the moment we arrived we were so warmly welcomed from Anis and Shiva. The place is a quiet retreat, perfect to escape the busy cities. It has everything you need, from a small kitchen with tea and herbs, plates and cutlery. The bed it super comfy, and the divide in the room is very home feeling, with a kitchen and bathroom, bedroom and living area. Laundry is available there, and we were sad to leave!

KB's Eco Mountain village home

AmayRating, 5 stars3 months ago
KB's stay was exactly what we were looking for. The property is run by his parents - and they looked after us really well. From homely food to guiding us about nearby attractions, they went out of the way to help us out. The neighborhood is a very nice one - where you can engage in a game of football with the kids. Would definitely recommend KB's stay if you are planning a trip in and around Pokhara. :D

Xanadu Homes, Mountain View Room - Mt. Nilgiri

SaraRating, 5 stars5 months ago
I stayed in Xanadu Homes one night after I finished my trek. The location was really convenient, right next to the airport (there are only flights in the morning, so no noyse at all during the rest of the day/night), as we had a flight next morning. The rooms were clean and confortable and the food really good (delecious brownie :) ) Dee was very nice and always responded quickly to my questions both before and during our stay, and even arranged a taxi from Mukinath to Jomson. I really enjoyed my stay in Xanadu Homes and it will be my choice again, if I return to Jomson.

SOSA Bed & Restaurant / Kitchen

Himal is a lovely host that cares about his guests, he helped me multiple times and was very sweet. The location is perfect: outside the busy part of Pokhara, but lake side still accessible, it’s the perfect spot to just relax with a book or if you want to rest but still go in town during the day. The kitchen is a big plus ! So nice to be able to cook your own food while traveling :)
