Really convenient and good pricing for an airbnb as its a few minutes walk from Shin-Osaka Station. Overall a good experience too since they have amenities which are able to accommodate the trip for me and my friends and a host which is responsive and friendly to our needs

Renovated private traditional house near Nara Park

MaximilianoRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful, traditional Japanese house with enough renovation to make it feel comfortable to stay in. Tomo is a great host who communicated very clearly and his instructions were very helpful during check-in. There are only 2 things I would have liked to be different: 1. The toilet area, it could be bigger but at least it was really clean and tidy :) and 2. The street can become quite noisy with cars and motorcycles during the night and early morning, also people walking by and chatting loudly. This is not the fault of the property or host, just something for future guests to keep in mind if they are sleeping in the front room. Other than that, beautiful place to stay in while in Nara! And not too far from the train station and Nara Park :)

【Free Parking】Spacious house with Japanese garden

KeryRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I came to Nara with my family, this stay was more than expected, a nice and clean single house, the equipment of the house was very human and useful, we made dinner in the house ourselves, and they were about 15 minutes walk from the train station. A small suggestion to get a shorter pillow and the pine trees outside can be trimmed down a bit.

GuestHouse Higashiyama Jao

JereRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed here for few days during our Japan trip. The house was beautiful and you can get a true guesthouse experience. Location was good, in a quiet neighborhood and not too far from public services and some good temple sights with almost zero crowds. Owner was very kind and responded quickly to any questions. Book this if you want to experience living in a traditional Japanese residence.

With gift.Entire house, proud of my mother and two sons.Nara Station, Nara Park 10 ~ 15 minutes

TanyaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Really enjoyed this place and I would strongly consider it if you’re visiting Nara. The house is very spacious and has ample supplies for daily things. The only thing is that the place is a bit of a walk to the main stations. It’s close to the Kyobate station but the train that runs in that direction is quite rare. So, if you have any mobility difficulties, I might pass on this one. But if you’re good to walk, it was overall quite convenient and very much worth the price.

A nice, older spacious Japanese style home. Has all the space and amenities needed for a short stay in Nara. Home does get musty inside, therefore it is important to have air flow circulating for fresher air. All in all a good stay that is close to public transportation and Nara park.

This place was really pleasant to stay. There are two big stations Nara Station and Nara-Kintetsu Station within 10 min walk. Multiple food options that would open as early as 7AM. I recommend to rent a bike (1000 yen for all day) and explore surroundings. Junko was very helpful and helped me locate an onsen (public bath) and bike rental. I absolutely recommend to stay at Ruska.

Near to Todaiji, enjoy an ancient house in Nara

AnnaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Cici's house is located in an old historic neighborhood of Nara within immediate proximity to all Nara's sights. It is a historic house which combines both Japanese and Western features: half of the house is tatami rooms with minimalist Japanese decor, and the other half is done in Western style with furniture and amenities. There are two classic Japanese gardens in inner courtyards. The only thing that I didn't like is 2 bedrooms on the second floor look kind of grim. Everything is very clean and order. Cici is a responsive and responsible host. We enjoyed our time at this house.

Mamoru’s wonderful traditional Japanese l home Nachiya was the highlight of our trip. We loved the traditional Japanese aesthetics and had a wonderful stay! The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and in a great location. The check-in process was smooth, and the host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches like coffee, drinks & snacks, and local recommendations. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
