Free parking is available on site, which is rare in Naoshima. The building is a detached two-story building, with 6 beds in the bedroom on the ground floor and 2 futons in the Japanese-style room on the second floor, accommodating up to 6-8 people. There is a family-type kitchen and washing machine, so it can be used not only for family and friends, but also for student training camps, seminar trips, etc. It is a 3-minute walk from OHANA to the Venetian Art Site and a 2-minute walk from the nearest bus stop, making it an ideal base for sightseeing while staying on Naoshima. Enjoy a relaxing time on Naoshima in an interior with plenty of wood, handled by a local contractor.

We have 2 electric bicycles and 5 bicycles available. They are available for free to guests. You can also take your bike on the ferry to Naoshima and Teshima. Insects may enter the house depending on the season, as the garden is close to the old house. We are taking measures, but please refrain from booking if you are not good with insects. When you come by car, we ask you to check in by yourself. When you come by train or bus, we can pick you up and drop you off at Uno Station. There is another traditional house nearby. We've carefully designed the fixtures and layout so that you can enjoy this facility at your leisure, as well as use it as a place to stay while traveling. In the dining room with an island kitchen, you can enjoy music with high-quality speakers. Enjoy the scent and feel of the rare pine flooring. For the bedroom area, we have thick futons instead of beds, also with small children in mind. In addition, the futon area is slightly elevated with tatami mats. One of the closest accommodations to Uno Station, it also has excellent access to outlying islands such as Naoshima. Convenience stores and popular restaurants are also close. English available.

My wife and I stayed at Ayu’s house and really enjoyed our time there. We had a private room on the second floor and shared the kitchen and bathroom on the first floor. All the amenities and facilities were tidy and clean. Given its central location on the island, I found the accessibility to various places quite convenient. Ayu is definitely one of the friendliest, most communicative, and most supportive Airbnb hosts I’ve met. She recommended several excellent dining spots and even made a reservation for us, since they only accept bookings by phone and neither of us speaks Japanese. She also kindly arranged a taxi for us after the Open Night Sky program at the Chichu Museum, when no public transportation was available. In addition, we had enjoyable conversations with Ayu on a variety of topics while playing with her adorable son and cat. I would certainly recommend this lovely place to any friends visiting Naoshima in the future. 👍

This property is stunning, authentic and a pleasure to stay at. Hosts were so helpful, even picked us up and dropped us off at the train station! They provided us with dressing gowns, slippers and plenty of towels so we felt very comfortable. They have a number of bicycles to use which was helpful for getting to the Naoshima ferry. Highly recommend!!

A true gem of a home stay. The location is amazing. You feel like you are living in a 16th century painting of a peaceful Japanese landscape. I saw the most spectacular sunset of my life from the dock in front of the house. There is a great beach a short walk away. What really makes this stay stand out is the next-level hospitality of the hosts. They are amazingly kind, helpful, and friendly. They cooked us some of the best food that we have had in our travels in Japan. Cannot be recommended highly enough!
