The white plastered earthen walls, natural Kenji-ji bamboo fences, and other features have been gradually renovated and revitalized (currently in the process of revitalization).Originally an old house opened as an almost 100% inbound accommodation.We are conducting a semi open-air bath in the interior of the warehouse and renovation work centered around the water. ■ Soothing moss garden ■ There are three gardens: a front garden, a courtyard, and a back garden. KAIWA NO SATO This old house is an indigo mansion built in the first year of the Bunsei era (1804) during the heyday of indigo. The main house and the sleeping area (a barn where indigo was stored) have been demolished due to aging, but the historic living room and garden have been preserved to allow guests to experience a little bit of that time, and it is used as a farmhouse inn. In the old days, "Indigofera" grew on the fertile land of the Yoshino River basin in Tokushima Prefecture, bringing great wealth to Tokushima Prefecture (Awa Province). Ancient documents on indigo, including cultural properties, are also available for viewing. You can rent the entire second floor of a newly built house in Nankoku-shi, which is located next to Kochi-shi. It is a duplex, and you can go directly to the second floor through a private door. It is a spacious 2LDK, 25 tsubo (80 square meters) room with carefully designed interior and lighting. There is a distance from the neighboring houses, and the view of the rice fields spreads out from the window, so you can spend a quiet and relaxing time. A Healing ceramic water purifier is installed at the water source. All the water that comes out of the faucet (including the bath) is delicious water that has passed through the water purifier and can be drunk as it is. 15 minutes by car from Kochi Airport. It is a very convenient location, 12 minutes from the expressway entrance, Nankoku IC, and 5 minutes from Nankoku Minami IC. It's not far, about 15 minutes, to downtown Kochi. It has good access to both the east and west of Kochi Prefecture and is a great place to use as a base for sightseeing trips.
