Vacation rentals with lake access in Namib Desert

Upon arrival at Onduli's place we were warmly welcomed by Serge at the front gate after which he lead us to the house. Even though the pictures gave a very good impression of what the house is like, we were still completely blown away by how cool it actually is! The house is completely private surrounded by 100 acres of private land filled with all kind of different animals. There are several different small marked hikes you can do around the house on which you can encounter animals at all times. If that was not enough, the house provides you with everything you can think of which allows you to completely relax. Including: - Fully equipped kitchen - A beautiful patio with wood, fire pit, braai and comfortable seating all around - A outside shower It is fair to say that Onduli's place was everything we've hoped for and more. We absolutely adored this place! The landscape provided a peaceful atmosphere perfect for relaxing. One of our favorite activities was going for walks along the fields to see the sunsets and waking up early to see the sunrises. We also spent a lot of time by the pool, which was very nice! Mandy, Rowland, and Pablo was incredibly kind to us, providing everything we needed as well as showing us their farm and their production. The food prepared by the cook Stanford never disappointed and we were all in all extremely satisfied with our stay! We payed to participate in a cooking class which was interesting and the food turned out very tasteful. We did expect that we would be cooking with the chef, when in reality we only observed him. However, we learned a lot from this and it was a good experience. We were five women in our early twenties staying here for three nights, and we highly recommend this place both to other friend groups, families, and couples of every age!

We had an amazing mother-daughter weekend at this beautiful Airbnb! From the moment we drove onto the farm, the scenic view was breathtaking—the house nestled at the foot of the mountain is an unforgettable sight. The home itself is incredibly spacious, spotless, and smelled wonderful. It’s equipped with everything you could possibly need—and more! We loved spending time around the boma fire, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and great company. There’s plenty of space to relax and gather with family and friends, and the house is thoughtfully equipped for little ones, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The friendly and attentive staff who maintain the property made our stay even better, and Marisa, the host, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. I had an amazing stay with my family from 23 to 28 December 2024 during the Christmas week. Everyone in the family totally enjoyed the stay. The house was clean, and the caretaker Mike was always reachable and ready to help with anything. My little daughters loved swimming in the private pool during the hot afternoons in Victoria Falls. The WiFi was great; making it easy for the family to be online whenever they wanted to. The gated neighborhood is very safe and quiet. The host Annie is a great communicator and very responsive. I highly recommend this luxury holiday home in Victoria Falls without any reservations and would encourage anyone traveling to Victoria Falls to try it!

Absolutely amazing stay at Steinheim Farm. The location was perfect, offering stunning views and a true sense of peace and tranquility. The accommodation was not only comfortable but also beautifully designed. Jacques was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Namibia!

Our stay was really fantastic for our dogs and had plenty to keep our children busy. Was a lovely getaway being outdoors and exploring nature. Greg was super helpful in settling us in and allowing us to take our dogs on walks down to the dams. The house's interiors and kitchen is older than we expected, however the rooms and bedding was comfortable. Overall there was more to do and enjoy, than what we expected!

I happened to have an emergency and Lentelie was more than willing to help me. Seldom have I had a host so eager to help a guest. Without the help of this host I would not have managed to cross the border in the timely manner that I did. Thank you Lentelie for everything.

Stayed three months while doing research in Maun. I highly, highly recommend Witness and his place for anyone needing longer term accommodation in town (researchers, volunteers, etc.) It was comfortable and private but also Witness and his team were always there if I needed anything at all during my stay (laundry was a god-send!). It's a more affordable option for longer stays than other places in town that cater exclusively to folks passing through on safari. You'll be incredibly well-looked after but also have your own space with kitchen facilities and all the amenities you need in a one bedroom flat. Witness and his family live on-site, so they are always there with a smile or a helping hand. They make you feel like you are at home, which is wonderful for a longer-term rental. And you'll love getting to know Ginger, the Jack Russell Terrier!

Pianoforte was the perfect place and just what we needed to rest and recharge after some car troubles. The hosts were welcoming and incredibly helpful - responsive to all requests and helped us settle in quickly. The flat itself is spacious while still feeling cozy, and has everything you need (and more!) for a comfortable stay. Location-wise, it cannot be beat as it’s writhin easy walking distance of shops, wonderful cafes and restaurants, and the best of all, the beach! Thank you!

Pleasant accommodation. Close to wonderful scenic drive around Gifberg. Plenty of flowers on the farm. Can drive to nearby Lutzville and Klawer wine cellars for great wines. Close to sea and close to Nieuwoudtville for more flower sights and quivertree forest. All in all a great venue!

We had the most wonderful stay. Everything we wanted was catered for. The Place is right next to the Zambezi River and you can watch all the animal life from the comfort of your own room. The Staff was amazing and friendly at all times. I will definitely return back soon.
