Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Namaqualand

Toren Farm was a wonderful peaceful stay. We went with our two girls 6yrs & 9 yrs who loved the open space, the hot tub, roasting marshmallows over the fire pit and the nearby river to swim in. My husband and I have been to a few Airbnb's and Toren Farm's kitchen was by far the best equipped we have seen. The house is very spacious and the beds incredibly comfortable. When we arrived we couldn't find matches or firelighters but Ansofie was quick to respond and come and brought us some, even gifting us more firewood in the process. We loved the little touches such as the nyummy chocolates on arrival, the individual blankets in the lounge, the abundance of towels and useful adapters. It all made our stay cosy and enjoyable. We could have easily stayed longer. Thanks again!

My friends and I had a great time at the cottage. There's a friendly cat who came to say hello and hung out with us for a while. The instructions around the stove/showers etc was very clear. Beautiful surroundings. Lots of walkable trails/hikes

Peaceful, idyllic mountain getaway for our family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming, rustic cottage. It’s peaceful with a lovely view. We walked to the nearby river with our dog which he loved. We really appreciated the crisp bed linen & mosquito netting. We’d come back here again. Oh yes! And the hot tub was fantastic too!

Wonderful host, awesome apartment, great location - easy access to surf break.

We really enjoyed our stay. The Cottage gives you a real secluded and peaceful experience. The surrounding hills are incredibly beautiful and we saw some interesting birds and other small animals. We loved being able to take our 2 dachshunds along and they loved exploring around the area. The braai area is great and the kitchen has everything you need. Comfortable beds and couches. All in all a lovely experience.

Lemoenhuis is a peaceful escape in the heart of Calvinia, and Liz and her husband go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Their warm and genuine hospitality made the stay feel relaxed and comfortable. The cottage is spacious and well-equipped, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The generous room sizes and well-equiped kitchen made it easy to settle in and enjoy the space. The highlight was sitting on the porch, overlooking the quiet, expansive landscape with the Hantam Mountains in the distance. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect spot to relax and reflect, whether in the early morning or as the sun set. The two friendly Dobermans added a charming touch to the stay. They were playful but well-behaved, providing just the right amount of companionship without being overbearing. For anyone seeking a quiet getaway with breathtaking views and kind hosts, Lemoenhuis is a fantastic choice. It’s a place that leaves you feeling rejuvenated.

What an amazing place to stay! Very beautiful and relaxed environment. Super private, well decorated and everything you would need to have a nice time. Simon is a wonderful host, very flexible with check-in and personally welcoming you when you arrive. Simon facilitated a morning hike and had great stories to tell, very much recommend doing this even if you’re not into hiking a lot - its worth it!
