Shimayado Goen

We spent 5 nights there and we wish it was more. The hostel is comfy, extremely clean, staff is friendly and helpful and makes sure you have the best stay possible. The island itself has a chill feeling and is full of nature, the bikes make it easy to cross it and go to anywhere in max 1 hour. Local people are also friendly and happy to see foreigners. Don't forget to cross the bridge to Madara island!

It is a nice hostel, well located and equipped with everything you need to spend a good stay. Removing the fact that it does not have an elevator, very good experience. The best is the nice view from the 5 floor room. It also has a terrace. I recommend it.

I stayed two nights and it was a very satisfying stay overall.Thank you for letting us use your lovely space! I was grateful to be able to stay in this price range within walking distance of Nagasaki Station and the tram station. The room was newly renovated, and it was nice that it was clean and tidy. There is also a washer and dryer, which is helpful for extended stays. However, the usage time was limited, and the laundry room was right next to a dormitory-type room where men stayed, so I was a little worried about using it during busy times at night.(There is a shower room and toilet for the people on that floor right next to the washing machine) I would like to stay there again when I visit Nagasaki.
