Kashihara Jingu Shrine is a historic town with the mausoleum and shrine of the first emperor of Japan, in the place where Japan began. It is also a place with a lot of greenery and nature. In the neighborhood, there is Asuka, which retains the appearance of ancient Japan, and is dotted with many ruins. Imai-cho, where the old streets from the Edo period still exist, is also a highlight. Kashinoki-an is a pure Japanese-style house built over 60 years ago, and you can also enjoy the garden. The kitchen and bathroom have been renovated for a pleasant stay. There is also a tourist information center, restaurant, tavern, supermarket, drug store, convenience store, and 100-yen shop nearby, making it very convenient. You can also get to Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara in about an hour.

This land with its old-fashioned townscape and famous water is hot in summer and cold in winter. But that's why the rice, vegetables, and meat are also delicious. There are many areas where nature remains, but few areas where the old townscape remains intact. I want to preserve this townscape. To that end, I want many people to experience a nostalgic way of life and culture. As such a place, we renovated a row house left by our ancestors and opened it as the Daiji, a soy sauce shop that had closed. You are always welcome! In this spacious and serene space, you can relax, do yoga, go to the nearby hot springs, and refresh your soul. We're also planning to start a tent sauna, and are working on that. Tea and water are available at the guest house, but meals are not included. Whether you shop at the supermarket and cook, or eat out, we leave that up to you. The nearest convenience stores and supermarkets are about 3 km from the guest house, so we recommend that you come after you have finished shopping. There are also 3 hot springs within 15 to 30 minutes by car. If you would like to use them, we will provide you with towels and more. We look forward to meeting you.
