Riverfront Vacation Home

HankRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We loved the house! The pictures don’t do it justice. Very open, bright, comfortable. Amazing water pressure in the shower. Body wash provided. Bring shampoo. Beds were comfortable. We were there for 1 1/2 weeks and cooked in most nights. They had everything we needed to cook. Folgers drip and kureg coffee provided. For all the fly fishermen/ women, the fishing in back of the house and up stream is very good and fun. This is a very special place - the views, the water, the big sky. Thanks Sparkus, for opening your home to us. Y’all make sure to get a burger at Carter’s Camp - they were great.

Rustic Little Cabin

Absolutely loved our stay here. Cabin was very nice. Clean place, comfy bed. Area was remote, so keep that in mind. That being said , it was so nice to be able to stargaze at night and watch the animals nearby. Complete peace

Copper Canyon: Cozy Apartment with Mountain Vistas

RodneyRating, 5 stars11 months ago
The photos of this place do not fully prepare you for the spectacle you will behold when driving in to this beautiful setting. The road to get there is extremely rough for the last 3-4 miles but is worth the drive for sure. Every day included long walks into the adjacent Custer National Forest with my dog for more scenery along the way. One thing I would have changed about the property is having the ability for the guest to shut the extremely bright dusk-to-dawn light attached to the garage, which made star-viewing less than optimal, however a short walk away from the main house offered dark skies. All in all this was our favorite stay so far this summer and we will likely return to the property for subsequent stays.

Index Peak Cabin

Truly an amazing cabin. All the appliances, bedding, dining ware, and accessories were top notch. Luxurious. We saw a moose from the porch. One mile to East Entrance of YNP. Thirty minutes to east side of Lamar Valley Obvious signs of pride in ownership and discerning quality control.

Hi-Mark Cabin

BethanieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The Hi-Mark cabin is a great place to stay in Cooke City. It's on a quiet street, but just 2 blocks from the main street where you can walk to a coffee shop or restaurant. We had 3 people and it worked great for us, with two of us in the loft and one in the bedroom. It's a cozy space and we enjoyed our stay. We recommend it to other travelers!

MTNLUX Refuge Sauna & Hot tub

CatherineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is our second stay with Mike and Shell and The Refuge is amazing. This stunning home has every amenity you could image in one of the most beautiful spots in America. We saw wildlife galore including antelope, deer, grizzly and black bears, marmots, moose, and so many more. We were able to explore The Bear Tooth Highway, Red Lodge, Lamar Valley, Cody, Mammoth, Old Faithful, and Norris, coming back to The Refuge each night to share a meal together and recap the beauty we witnessed every day. Mike, Shell, and the townspeople of Cooke City are kind and helpful. Only negative was that we had to leave. We will definitely be back…but this time it will not take us 6 years to return. Do yourself and your family a favor and book today. 10/10

'Snowflake Cabin' - Mins to Cody & Red Lodge!

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This cabin is unique and special just like the pictures. The owners obviously care about the guest experience and have lots of extra thoughtful things like a plethora of towels, a towel warmer for the chilly season, bath products, and extra blankets. It is off the beaten path and a little trek into Cody or Montana but worth it if that’s what you’re in to. The host was quick to respond to any questions and provided a map image to help us get to the cabin. We highly recommend.

Historical one room cabin. #3 Accessible Hwy 296

LauraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is such a cozy, quiet, comfortable place to stay in between our excursions to the north east entrance of Yellowstone. I got up many mornings very early to look for wolves in Lamar Valley and this was super convenient. Also really enjoyed the towns of Cooke city and Silvergate very close by with great general stores, coffee, shops, and eating. Highly recommend food and drinks at Wulf Tavern.
