This recently renovated cottage is at the top of a quiet lane with a sweeping meadow view. Single level. Two bedrooms sleep four (queen and two twin beds); new, well-equipped kitchen and one bath, open living area, deck and patio. Light and spacious. Working fireplace, central A/C; W/D; expanded cable TV and wifi; off street parking for two cars. Market/deli nearby; pleasing walk (less than a mile from center of Mystic)- restaurants, shops, marinas, etc. Near Amtrak station. Great retreat!

This bright apartment is within walking distance of Downtown Mystic with lots of nearby food options food options. There are coastal access points nearby that are within 2 to 5 mins. There are trails across the street for a scenic hike. The sunset views are breathtaking and you can see wildlife and lots of boats including the Argia several times a day. We are 1 exit away from Mystic Seaport and Mystic Aquarium. Use Mystic Go App to see all that you can explore in this area.

Bright Spacious Room (near Mystic)

Had a lovely Memorial Day Weekend in CT using a room in Wendy's house for my homebase as I explored the CT shoreline. It was perfect for me for what I needed - a comfortable bed in quiet surroundings so I could relax after hours of touring beaches, neighborhoods and houses. Wendy's recommendations really helped change my plans, for the better! And I had fantastic meals both nights in places where I felt welcomed as a single traveler. When I come back with my partner, I would rent the studio or carriage house for more room and privacy, as the single rooms do share one bathroom. Everyone was completely respectful, clean, and quiet in the house, though, and I really appreciated the morning coffee and mini fridge and freezer for all my traveling drinks and snacks. Thanks Wendy!

Mystic waterfront gem! Close to everything.

This was our second time staying in this cozy Mystic Airbnb. It has historic charm inside and a lovely waterfront view outside. The home is well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed during our stay. There is so much to do in the surrounding area. We went to the Mystic Aquarium to see the beluga whales, we strolled the downtown Mystic streets and learned about coastal New England at the Mystic Seaport Museum. We went on a day trip to Gillette Castle and the town of Essex. We hope to return to Connecticut in the future.

Tom and Kate were lovely hosts. I was visiting the area for a wedding. When my scheduled arrival plan went awry, Tom and Kate were accommodating and flexible to meet my needs. The home was within a 5-minute ride to the wedding venue, making it a perfect place to stay. The home is beautifully renovated and welcoming. The bedroom is cozy and I slept soundly. The bathroom is small but suitable, and very clean. I enjoyed a wonderful conversation with the hosts in the morning, finding common interests with Kate in gardening and skiing. I would stay here again if I am fortunate enough to be in the area, and highly recommend it as an ideal place to stay.

Daniel’s place was clean and well-equipped. He even provided us with snacks for our stay. He struck the perfect balance of being helpful with recommendations and also letting us do our own thing while on vacation in the area. Would definitely recommend!

Aleksander’s place was a perfect stay for our 3 days in Mystic over Memorial Day Weekend. It was exactly as described-clean, easily accessible with a safe parking space for our car, perfectly sized and outfitted for a couple. It was a 5-8 minute uber from the town (depending on whether the drawbridge was up) which we expected and didn’t hinder our experience at all. If you were up for it, it’s a 25 minute walk. The host was proactive, friendly, and accessible and we had no issues at all during our stay. We felt that everything we needed was available to us at Aleksanders place during our stay! Would recommend :)

Staying at Phoebe’s was great! We loved seeing the ocean as we drove there, and it was very peaceful. Phoebe was very friendly and helpful. There was also an excellent cat.

Quaint and comfy is exactly what it was! Great location, Valerie is very hospitable and accommodating! I was a little concerned about the shared bath….it was not an issue at all!! In this crazy economy, the rate was more than fair!! I was in town for a wedding and it was just perfect!! Very close to Mystic and easy peasy access. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy spot in Groton! The place was absolutely spotless super clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. It felt like a true home away from home. The location was perfect too just a pleasant 20 minute walk to downtown Mystic, which made it easy to explore all the great shops, restaurants, and waterfront views without having to drive. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. In fact already planning our next stay here.
