Apartment vacation rentals in Mýrdalshreppur

So glad we were able to book this place when we did. Location was superb and just what we needed during our trip — right by the Víkurfjara Black Beach. The place is as it looked in the photos. As it was by the beach, we needed a broom/vaccuum to clean the floor due to the sand that got in because of our luggages. But Samuel was very responsive to our request and got that easily sorted out. Amenities provided were very mich sufficient for our stay. Thanks, Samuel, for providing us with a home during our 4 day-stay in Vík!

Wonderful apartment, felt brand new fresh and clean, amazing views!

Well, we've stayed in a lot of awesome places all over the world and this ranks right up in the top 10% of anywhere we've stayed! Especially when you consider the location from which we spent the whole day with only a 25 minute drive... We drove to the beautiful Seljalandsfoss waterfall (and got soaked--raingear is a must), came back to our studio and walked to Skogafoss waterfall, walking up the steep steps for an amazing hike WAY upriver enjoying the many waterfalls and canyons... After that, a walk to Freya Cafe for a good meal in a rather interesting setting... Finally, we took a fairly short walk to the Kvernufoss waterfall, a smaller but beautiful waterfall that you can also walk behind... Then, an easy walk to our studio to reflect on an amazing day! Octavia and Alexandria were super friendly and helpful, and their Mom was sweet too... The studio itself was perfect! Intelligently laid out and super comfortable! Highly recommended if visiting the South Coast!

The house was at a great location, only 10 minutes from Seljalandfoss and Skogafoss. The surroundings were beautiful! The place was spotless, all amenities as described. The house was warm and cozy upon entry, bathroom was floor heated. Jon was very responsive. The only small drawback was that the road to the house was unpaved and a little hard to drive on, but thats a minor point. Would love to stay again!

The check in was easy and the apartment was perfectly set up and in a beautiful location. We had no issues and enjoyed our stay there

One of the best AirBnb’s I have ever stayed in! Super cool design and excellent location near Seljalandsfoss! The cozy cabin with heated floors was wonderful to come back to after getting soaked at the waterfall. Peaceful, quiet location with a beautiful waterfall visible from the common area/bedroom. The Nespresso machine, heated towel rack, and robes were a nice touch. It’s pricey, but you won’t regret it!

Nice place to stay central to a few local attractions and places to eat. Check-in and communication was very easy.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely little house on the hill. The views were beautiful, and the home was thoughtfully laid out and very comfortable. The host was friendly, helpful, and made communication easy throughout our stay. Highly recommend for a peaceful and relaxing getaway!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my visit. The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The location was perfect — close to everything I needed, yet peaceful and quiet.
