Family-friendly vacation rentals in Muskegon County

This house was perfect for our family of 14. Everything we need was there, including items for our 15 month old. The beach area was amazing and the outdoor shower and hot tub were an added bonus.

This place is fantastic. I honestly can’t say enough about how much fun our family had here. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay this is it. Everything was just as described and extremely well thought out. The beach on the property is fantastic. The fishing on this lake is fantastic. The house itself is really beautiful with a great view of the lake. The house layout is great for people with kids and the lower level is a really cool kid hangout. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and we brought stuff we didn’t even need to because it was already here. Spices in the kitchen were a really nice touch that we really appreciated. The ice maker was also extremely nice and very much appreciated. We will be booking a return trip and staying even longer next time. The kids are still talking about how much fun they had.

We are repeat guests at Mary’s home. It’s an excellent location for visiting Michigan’s Adventure and exploring the many beaches and beach towns in the area. The space is a real home with all the touches and amenities you need. Hot tub and fire pit are lots of fun. Overall, this is one of the best hosts and properties I’ve stayed with on Airbnb.

Linda and Dave were incredible, the property was beautiful and they were so helpful and kind. My daughters had a blast and we will absolutely be back.

Pretty little cottage, just as advertised. Caretaker responded right away to replace a broken toaster. Convenient to the spots we wanted to visit. Sat out on the screened porch to enjoy the thunderstorms moving through. Thanks for a great visit.

We had a great time at the Savannah Sands Cottage! The location is incredible, you can see the beach as soon as you walk out the door! Tara was very responsive when any issues came up. Overall it was a wonderful trip!

This house and renting from brenda are my new 5 star standard. I am blown away by all of the little details. If youre thinking of renting this place, just do it. My dog, kid and the adults loved the backyard. The layout of the house is brilliant. There's something for everyone, without feeling like youre on top of each other. Brenda has helpful notes around the house to help with your stay. We commented multiple times that the notes were all very friendly and useful, instead of coming across as a list of not to do's in the house. This was a new area of Michigan for us. It's super dog friendly and honestly one of my new favorite areas in Michigan. We had a sudden death in the family and had to book a place last minute. This house was so comfortable to our family after a day of visitation and the next day funeral stuff. It felt like being at home. I will definitely be back.

This was far and away the best place stayed in during my vacation. Clean, very well stocked with the period furnishings mixing well with the TV’s and internet access. The view is spactacular! Patricia always communicated and was very clear about everything. I would love to return. Can’t think of anything negative. Make sure you can climb a staircase but Patty even checked that with us to be sure it was alright.

the place was just as described and even stocked with a big fan and pack n play! we loved the open layout and how stocked everything was.

My buddies and I stayed at Jason's place while playing in a Gus Macker Basketball Tournament in Newaygo. His place is the perfect cottage - Right on the river, clean, comfortable, close to everything and well furnished. I was so impressed I am looking for an opportunity to bring my wife to stay at Jason's place.

Home was perfect for our quick stay! Couldn’t find the trash bin described to throw our trash away upon leaving but aside from that it was great! Super quiet and beautiful beach

My husband and I and our 1.5 year old had the best end of summer getaway at Russel’s cottage on twin lake! First off, Russel was incredibly communicative and very friendly. His prompt responses throughout our stay were very much appreciated. We found the cottage to be clean and well equipped with everything that we needed! Russel even purchased a blender for our stay when I inquired about one. The beach is great for littles! It is a good size and kept clean. We also rented the pontoon, which was a great addition to our stay! Our son loved going on daily boat rides. The kayaks and paddle boats were nice to have as well- we utilized both! We will definitely be returning. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Host, great person. The snowed over pond and ducks was beautiful. Dave made sure to check in with us to see if we had everything we needed, and gave constant recommendations for restaurants nearby. Felt like home, definitely coming back with more friends Dave. -JM

Thanks to Chris for his awesome communication. The home was very clean with everything we needed. The location was close to Duck Lake with a nice little channel flowing into Lake Michigan, near to Ludington where we love House of Flavors, Mac Dune Rides, a couple lighthouses and the nice town of Whitehall. Highly recommend Pekadill’s for ice cream, lunch, grilled ribs and chicken on Friday and Saturday. Our family thoroughly enjoyed this home. We highly recommend it.
