Daniel's house was an amazing place to stay, very quiet and secluded, perfect for a peaceful rest but also easy to get into the city if needed, we used the train from Södertälje. Daniel was very helpful throughout the trip. The islands and scenery in this area are fantastic. A very cosy, comfortable house to stay in.

A unique place that welcomes any family that would love a winter or summer stay near Stockholm. We just loved our stay at Magdalena's and Daniel's home. A great location to wonder around, discover and shuttle boat to Stockholm. The home itself left us astonished with a sense of design simplicity that we will definitely take with us. The kids loved the garden and even if there was a bit of noise coming from the highway it was merely audible in the garden itself, nothing inside. You have many walking trails starting at walking distance from the house itself. Daniel was a super helpful, attentive and kind host. We thank them very much for letting us stay in their amazing and warm home.

We had such a lovely stay. The house is beautiful - well cared for and wonderfully designed - and the panoramic view of the archipelago is amazing. We spent a few days just swimming from the private jetty and enjoying the view but the location is also a short drive to Nacka Strand, so we took the commuter ferry to visit Stockholm too. Chicki also particularly recommended the Artipelag gallery near Gustavsberg, so we had a lovely day there too, enjoying their sculpture trail through the forest by the sea. I would very much recommend this lovely Airbnb, its location and the helpful hosts.

Maria was an amazing host, the communication was impeccable and respond rates really quick. The flat was really nice and warming, and anything we needed Maria attended to such as an iron and medication. Very appreciative for all the recommendations to certain bars and areas of Stockholm. The view from the house is idyllic and incredibly peaceful and we enjoyed the rowing boat, the floating sauna, picking blueberries and a few days out to Sandhamn and Vaxholm. The house has everything you need from an outdoor dining table, a barbecue and a terrace to enjoy the view and it is only 45 minutes by car from Stockholm. We had a great time and Jack was the perfect host. We can definitely recommend this place.

We are thrilled to have found this gem for our winter getaway with friends in Vaxholm! The location is perfect—conveniently close to the bus, ferry, and with its own parking space, yet wonderfully peaceful. The house exceeded our expectations with its spaciousness and charm. It had plenty of room for everyone and came fully equipped with all the amenities we needed. It truly felt like a home with a soul, making our stay special. Mary-Rose, the host, was incredibly kind and attentive, answering all our questions promptly and ensuring we felt well-prepared for our stay. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient retreat in Vaxholm!

A group of us spent 4 days at Gustavo's and we couldn't recommend it more. The place is magical in the snow and there is an incredible view from the terrace and sauna. On new years eve we were even greeted by a moose and her calf outside the house. There are some lovely walks in the area and it really does feel like a break from the city.

Fabulous house, beautifully restored and decorated. Great location by the water to watch the boats go by and for a morning swim :) Very well equipped kitchen. Börje is a great host, greeted us at check-in and took time to explain everything. Always quick to respond to messages.

We had such a lovely stay. The house and garden are wonderfully designed and comfortable. Being able to have all the space but just 20 minutes away from central Stockholm was great. Nikolina was so helpful and really responsive when we messaged her with questions both before and during our stay. We would thoroughly recommend!

Can’t recommend this gem enough! Absolutely beautiful house in the middle of nature with a sauna right on the water. We are leaving after 5 amazing days and hope to come back in the coming years. Niklas is super responsive and helpful, plenty of tips about the surroundings and super easy experience getting settled in. The Kitchen is also one of the best equipped Airbnbs I’ve ever seen!

Matthias and his family have a great house and grounds. The area is very nice and has many great excursion options. We liked the immediate proximity to the archipelago, the Tyresta National Park and also took a tour to Stockholm. All in all highly recommended, we will be happy to come back!

We were a bunch of friends renting this home and were so happy. Very social area both indoors and out on the terrace, large and good kitchen, many bathrooms and incredibly nice views and a quiet and nice area both close to swimming and nature trails for walks and runs. We can highly recommend this place!

A tasteful and very charming and cozy house in an amazingly nice setting! Fully equipped, the only thing we missed was toaster but a wonderful fireplace and plenty of barbecue facilities. We enjoyed the magical orangery and thought it was cozy with our own chickens (and eggs). We received such a warm welcome from Markus and Matilda who also responded quickly and care that we had a great stay. And we really did, despite the power outages (which are of course outside the impact of the host couple). Possibly it was a bit in the smallest team, we who were 6 people and wanted to stay in the same house, but the host couple were very generous and care that we enjoyed and offered all the comfort we could possibly wish for. Such a nice weekend on the whole! Highly recommend.

Amazing villa with a long and literally colorful past. It is beautifully renovated and very well equipped. Swimming in the sea is a bit of an adventure but there is always the heated pool for the not-so-daring. The location is perfect - just 15 Minutes by car to the heart of Stockholm but still in the middle of wild nature. Simon gave us a very warm welcome and was always available for questions.
