Vacation rentals in Murun

Quaint, peaceful and family-oriented... These are the words that best describe Esmedekh's ger-camp. The family has set up a beautiful logging that is both modern yet traditional with many Mongol elements. This place (and their service) could easily be comparable to a "bed and breakfast". The camp is organized to truly respect nature and promote organic living. Three warm meals are prepared daily with majority of ingredients/resources cultivated off the land. Tours and entertainment can be arranged before travel or daily with the hosts. Coming to Murun, our luggage was lost and family members took us into town to purchase necessities to last our stay. There was not wifi at our individual ger- as amenities had originally suggested, nor is there any at the main cafeteria. All in all, our stay was pleasant and we were very pleased with the value. All additional service costs are billed at the end of the stay. Highly suggest requesting airport pickup for best transport to camp.

We spend a very good time (2 days) in Esme house. Very quiet place and clean. Communication is easy with Esme and they leave some water and cake when We arrive. Many thanks

We had a great time at Baigal’s guesthouse. It is less than 10 minutes walking to the accommodation from the main bus terminal in Murun

Khulan is a wonderful host and perfect place to stay in Murun!! As the travel in Mongolia has bumped in to lots of funny situations (Sudden changes of the travel schedules, broke downed car, no internet to contact, etc) we needed to cancel and change the booking dates several times and even our arriving time to murun delayed 6 hours without any notice to her. But she gets never angry and helped us kindly😭. Finally we got nice place to stay and had a deep sleep. Thanks to Khulan a lot.

A beautiful campsite along the shoreline at the junction of 5 rivers. Very well located for walks and fishing (trout, Taimen, etc.), with an excellent fishing guide that can take you by boat on nice spots. The management and the whole team of the campsite was really attentive with us. a big thank you to them for making this stay very pleasant for us.

Great place in the middle of vast Mongolian nature. They picked us up at the meeting point and drove to the ger, which was warm and comfy regardless of cold weather outside. Even though winter isn't the ideal season to enjoy the most of nomadic lifestyle, they arranged us fun activities like mountain trekking and horse riding.
