Vacation rentals in Murringo

My stay was all I could wish for & more. I had some trouble finding the cottage but that was my sat nav being very stubborn. When I requested assistance from Peter and Mandy they responded immediately. On arrival at the cottage getting in was a breeze. P & M very graciously worked with the cleaner so that I could check in early as I had to get to a wedding. The cottage is as the pictures but even better. It was spotless, beautiful linen on the beds & the kitchen was very well kitted out. They also included with the towels a face washer, which is hardly ever done but was much appreciated. There was a huge deep bath but I didn't get a chance to use it. The cottage has some wonderful pieces of furniture & decorative items, including an amazing coffee table. My bed was really comfortable & both nights I had a great sleep which was helped by the fact that the area is extremely quiet despite being in walking distance of the town centre. The cottage is very comfortable & homely.

Comfy beds with quality sheets. Great verandah for enjoying the view and the breeze. A short walk from the Sir George hotel.

Excellent place to stay at. The place was exactly what we needed except when we arrived, only 2 of the listed 3 bathrooms were available. This was outside Bilal’s control as one of the bathrooms had issues around Christmas time making it hard to get trades to come in a fix in time. There were some small bugs around the house but this is all part of nature when you’re in the country so no big deal at all! The house was beautiful and exactly as described. It was well equipped for us to enjoy some family meals in.

We had a lovely stay at Devine. The cabin is very comfortable (especially the bed!) and nicely decorated, and the view from the balcony is gorgeous. It’s right in the middle of a bunch of great wineries and beautiful countryside. Nicole was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

The Shearing Shed is a whimsical delight. It is exactly as you see in the photos. It’s spacious and the king bed is soooo comfortable. It’s rustic and charming and very relaxing. We happened to visit when Cowra was nudging 40c and the powerful a/c unit kept the whole shed perfectly cool. Viv was a fantastic host welcoming us in person, gave us the low down on the place and the local area and even called and booked us into a restaurant for our Saturday night. Their friendly animals wander about and will check in you occasionally (dogs Peter and Simba, cat Bob and the 2 horses. One of whom George visits each morning). Fantastic stay, highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Mulberry Cottage. Nat, Rob and their family are the most welcoming, warm hosts. The cottage is cosy, clean and beautifully decorated. The property is peaceful and private. Our dog loved sitting outside each morning, sniffing the breeze and all the cattle, goat, kangaroo and sheep scents that came her way 😄 It's the perfect place to spend a few days (or more) in clean, country air with a perfect night sky. We would absolutely stay again.

We found Rachael, very friendly and helpful on arriving, after a long day driving was looking forward to relaxing, and a hot shower, and have to say the cabin was very comfortable, and clean, lovely view of trees and paddocks, and Holly had a nice walk too, would recommend, and we would also stay again!

what a memorable way to get a taste of farmlife. Garry has created a cottage that allows you to step into the colonial era but still with all the comforts of home. delightful hosts, a warm welcome, amazing fire under the stars... delicious breakfast.... we couldn't wish for more... definitely going to become a habit. Great place for family to meet up for a holiday together! House was great, kitchen was well stocked with all the pans, tools and implements needed for cooking, and great living space and layout for both socialising and spreading out. Fantastic location for having fun at Wyangala Dam, as well as for exploring the greater area with it only being half an hour to Cowra and an hour on decent roads to Iandra Castle at Greenthorpe.
