Beachfront vacation rentals in Muri

This place had everything we needed! Bakery and petrol station down the road with town less than 5mins away! Had dinner next door and the music was a vibe! Definitely recommend

Great stay for our family with little kids. The house was just as described in the listing. The beach out front was quiet and shallow for the kids to swim, kayak and snorkel. The pool was a very nice bonus, being fully fenced meant we could relax without having to worry about the kids. The air-con's all worked well and the kitchen was very well stocked. A great stay, with good communication from Mark.

Excellent stay. Made sure I felt welcomed even when my flight arrived very late at night. I will definitely be returning!

Jaewynn was very welcoming and had put extra touches like milk in the fridge and some flowers. She was very helpful and when we had a hot water issue she dealt with it straight away. The house is very private, with its own parking space and lovey little garden. It is in a great spot close to the main town and the airport and lots of places to eat. We had a lovely week staying there.

Anchor sands is a hidden gem of the cook islands, we are so glad we choose this Airbnb instead of a resort. We have 2 teenagers 14 & 16 and this place was perfect for us, kids could sleep in their own rooms with out being woken up by other guests. We were able to connect to the TV and stream Netflix and Prime. But best of all was the location, the best snorkelling and fish - straight in front of the house. We would see the tour boats anchor out the front each (far out, not close to the shore), so that tells you its a good spot for snorkelling. But best of all was the view from the deck, we sat their for hours each morning having coffee, relaxing and reading books. Its close to shops, not to far from town (25mins), Go Local turtle tours is just down the Road, Same with Wigmores (who do the best ice creams), and some great restaurants too, like Charlies, Vaima on the Beach, Little Polynesia. We feel staying here made our holiday, it is an exceptional property and location. Thank you!!!

The property was perfect for the two of us and was exactly as described and only had to walk out the back door to be on the Lagoon The fruit basket coffee tea even milk in the fridge was appreciated Also a big thankyou to Sala who called in regularly to see if we needed anything We couldnt have been any happier and didnt want to leave after our 4 week stay Once again Thankyou. Mark was great! Any issues we had, he was very helpful. Location made it accessible to muri and heaps of other beautiful beach spots and local supermarkets!

Sunset Quay is a perfect place to rejuvenate, relax or a perfect location for adventure. We had a group of 8 adults- 3 couples and 2 singles and had more than ample space for everyone to get some privacy and the common areas made it perfect to gather, play games and talk story.. the pool was beautiful, clean and refreshing. We ventured to Muri a couple of times and we're SO happy we chose this location instead. Murray had more mosquitoes, snorkeling was not as good and there is no sunset on that side of the island. walk down the beach a short ways to restaurants, a beach bar and more stunning beaches. all in all, one of our best group trip locations ever! A beautiful spot right on the beach at Muri. It’s a great option for 2 people. The villa is about the size of a good hotel room with a modest kitchen. All of the Muri restaurants are a few mins walk away. We swam in the lagoon mostly as the water was so warm. Joy is a real people person - very helpful and genuine.

Absolutely lovely. The two totally private, walled in garden areas were a highlight. The room was well equipped and very comfortable. Rick, the owner, was delightful. Definitely hope to come back soon.

This place was the best we've stayed in on Raro for it's view of the sea, it's swimming pool and it's layout, two large bedrooms with ensuites and a third room with another bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would book again. The house was immaculately clean and the verandah views were the best for sunsets. The lagoon is swimmable at high tide and ok for snorkeling, and not far from Aro'a where there is good snorkeling. Eddie was flexi with our checkout which we appreciated given the late night flight out. Thanks so much for the accommodation. We hope to be back again.

My wife & I stayed at Joy & John's wonderful beachfront villa for 12 days and it was pure bliss from start to finish. Joy is an absolute dream host and such a lovely person and even organised transfers to and from the airport for us. She even drove us to the other side of the island one night which is no big deal but she didn't have to! The villa is very spacious, clean, airy, fully equipped with all you could possibly need, a view to die for and only a handful of steps to the beach/lagoon. The kayaks and snorkelling equipment were well used and a great bonus. Only a two minute walk from a great little coffee stand (almost daily visit!) and close to many great eateries including the night market for some incredible food. Regularly walked along the beach to many of the nearby hotels and bars on the beach. Couldn't possibly have asked for anything more from this villa, absolute perfection and it made my 50th birthday all the more special. Thank you Joy & John

We loved our stay! We arrived late at night and it was so nice to wake up and find a few supplies in the fridge. The place is lovely and clean, in a great location and has everything we could have wanted for far better value than a resort stay so would recommend to everyone

The house is currently getting renovated after a tough few years of COVID and when that’s finished it will match its amazing location which is right on Muri Lagoon. Easy walk to perfect beaches, cafes and restaurants. A great place to stay with a group of friends or family and we will definitely be coming back as Koromiri and Rarotonga are the perfect holiday destination.

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was spotless, well-equipped with everything from towels to linen, and had a great space to unwind and watch TV (WiFi was great!). The location was unbeatable—walk straight from the deck to the beach for kayaking or spotting incredible fish in the water just out in front of the property. You're a short stroll from the local night markets for dinners (4 nights a week!) or some fantastic restaurants. Shona and Paul were the perfect hosts—friendly and welcoming, but gave us plenty of space, checking in just enough to offer help or tips. A newly added spa (not listed when we booked) was a huge bonus—we spent hours soaking after kayaking or when the weather turned. Kayaks are provided too! Bonus tip: chat to Paul about his legendary hot sauce… we may have purchased a few bottles :) If we’re back in Raro, we’ll definitely stay here again!

We stayed for a week in this little piece of paradise. Right on the beach, with a quality deck overlooking the lagoon, this place was sensational. Had everything we needed, including snorkeling gear, and our hosts were friendly and responsive to messages. Would love to come back!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The deck looking straight out to the lagoon was a huge treat. You couldn’t get closer to great snorkelling. The location is just off the main road, close to great coffee and food choices. The interior was spotless and had everything you would need. We would highly recommend this as a base in Rarotonga.

From the moment we booked—just 15 hours before arriving in Rarotonga from the U.S.—Janna went above and beyond to make our stay truly special. Beyond the wonderful accommodations, Janna’s hospitality was unmatched. She shared fantastic local recommendations that made our trip even more memorable and even helped us arrange a day tour, which ended up being one of the highlights of our stay. If you're looking for a warm, welcoming, and thoughtful host, Janna is the best. We can't recommend her Airbnb highly enough and would love to return!

If you've been to Rarotonga before, you know what to expect from an Airbnb but we were new to the experience so it was a little bit of a culture shock. The kitchen and bathrooms were not to our (Australian) standards but I believe the villa was typical in Rarotonga. Our other issue was finding the place, as the lanes are not signposted. If you are lost, Paddy's Lane is right next to the "Pit Stop" sign on the beach side of the main road, across from the new service station. The layout of the villa is great, with a bedroom and ensuite bathroom on each side of the house. The kitchen is very well equipped with pots, pans, dishes etc. and the laundry is lso well equipped with not only a huge washing machine but also reef shoes, flippers etc. Two kayaks are waiting for you outside the house. Internet worked very well. What really makes this place 5 stars is the beachfront location! If you like fishing, snorkelling and kayaking you can do all three right from the back of the villa.

The beach was amazing! Great to have easy access to snorkels and kyacks as well. Helpful with supermarket just down the road. Awesome spot to hang out with family

Fantastic, a excellent property in a beautiful location with a great host - could not ask for more. The property was easy to find and if anything the photos do not do it justice! Fitted with everything you need and right on a beautiful beach great for snorkelling. Maddy was a great host, very proactive and responsive. Would highly recommend staying here if you get a chance.

The location is perfect, right on one of the nicest beaches and the lagoon is really lovely here. Up the road about half a mile is a grocery store, Circles restaurant, and the safe and free drinking water station. A short walk in the opposite direction are two local businesses that take visitors on reef walks and snorkeling tours. The south side of the house, facing the lagoon is mostly glass, and the view is splendid. The bed was quite comfortable and we enjoyed leaving the curtains open at night and staring at the brilliant stars. Just one thing to know, you have to be at least 5’10” tall to reach the microwave which is on top of the fridge. We recommend our hosts provide a small step stool in case it’s needed. Otherwise, we will always cherish our memories of our stay at Summer Salt Raro.
