Vacation rentals in Muranga County

We had a lovely 24 hours in the remoteness of Peter's place with the family. The cottage is well-equipped in a non-fussy way (which is great with kids). It has a nice space to play out the front, and we were very cosy despite the incessant rain! There was an area-wide power outage for the time we were there, but the generator meant we at least had some power for a while. And Gabriel and Naomi made us very comfortable. The final bit of the road to the cottage is very muddy and tricky to navigate in the wet (make sure you have 4WD) but Gabriel made sure were safe and got in and out ok, and Peter had made sure we were aware and came prepared. His directions to the place and communication before we arrived were also excellent. Would recommend for an easy trip away from the bustle of Nairobi!

Spotlessly clean, beautiful set up, and very quick to respond. The check in was easy, very detailed instructions as well. Worth the stay.

we had an incredible stay at Firefly! From the scenic and sprawling coffee plantation to the avocado trees and the lake, it was a treat for the eyes. Our host was communicative throughout the process. Brian and team were also truly helpful and had much knowledge on the coffee harvests. The team were also available for a turn-down service and no request was too big to accommodate. We are grateful to Snehal and team who also left in our care coffee packages and our own take home coffee which we were able to roast :) All in all, an awesome weekend getaway.

Thingira is excellent, and then some👌 Ideal location for a retreat, serene environment with a very peaceful ambience in a farm setting.

Amazing place. Very responsive and flexible personnel. I felt right at home and would recommend anyone to start from here in their search for their next vacation stay. Ps. The views of the surrounding valley and river are just stunning.

This place is an oasis in Thika! Outstanding hosts and even made a wonderful dinner for a reasonable price. I will return.
