I felt right away at home once I got to the little house. It was very clean & decorated with beautiful flowers from the garden by the lovely Xochilt, which greeted me instead of Zivile, which unfortunately was out of the house. The garden & the yoga platform are very beautiful. I saw many butterflies & birds flying around. The house is made well and has a lovely interior. The porch could be a bit bigger and nicer made, it doesn't really fit the rest of the house. During sunny days it got quite hot inside, the fans were helping a bit. To use the A/C you need to pay extra. As it is a big property there is always some kind of work going on and sometimes a bit noisy. As I stayed often at home to work, I was sometimes a bit annoyed by the noise. But once it's quiet it's wonderful quiet and you can just hear the sound of nature. As the house is in between two other houses I wished for a bit more privacy. I loved the mix of jungle and nearby ocean. A moto is a nice have to explore.

Elena’s casita was amazing! It’s furnished cute, the appliances are new and the kitchen was well equipped. The AC blew cold and the shower was hot! Those are luxuries in that area. Houses in this part of the world/in this price range can feel infiltrated by outdoor pests or mold, but this casita was super clean and we had zero issues with bugs. We loved our stay and the privacy of our own home and gated backyard. Very relaxing. Walking distance to Guacaste surf break. We had a lot of travel hiccups making it to Nica, and Elena and JJ were super responsive and helpful. Fresh towels and sheets were delivered to us weekly too, which was great. 5/5, we loved the place!

Had the most wonderful time at Jean and Coco’s beautiful Airbnb! It’s a luxurious stay that still maintains the vibe of this beautiful country. The property manager on site helped us with everything we needed and answered any questions we had. You’re so close to the beach which felt like a private oasis! If you’re thinking of staying in the area you should definitely book this Airbnb!!

A peaceful and comfortable place. The ac was such a relief from the 90+ temps outside, which made sleeping so comfortable. The first night there was a power outage. We since learned this is very unusual for more than a a couple minutes. But maybe pack a little battery fan just in case. So far it's our favorite spot to stay in Guasacate. Very spacious, peaceful, and secluded.. The stars were beautiful. Ian and Sydney answered any questions we had promptly. 5 stars!

I felt very comfortable in the Salitre. I was even allowed to put my belongings in the fridge before checking in. The house is spacious, well furnished and has everything you need. It is only a 2-minute walk to the beach. I thought it was great that I was able to bring my small dog easily. The managers take care of them warmly. Overall, I felt very comfortable in the house. I'd love to come back to Salitre...

We had the perfect stay in this beautiful bungalow 2 seconds walk from the best beach we’ve ever visited. It was in the best location just 10 mins walk from lovely beachfront restaurants and a 2 min walk to the cafe with the best coffee in town. Guasacate is the most amazing place to visit in Nicaragua - we actually preferred it to Popoyo. So highly recommend this bungalow in this location. Thank you to Ana for making our stay so easy! We will definitely be back.

The house is overall great, but the layout is a bit unusual—you have to leave your room and go downstairs to use the outside bathroom, which isn’t ideal at night. Two days before checkout, a housekeeper came to tidy up the outdoor area for a few hours. While she respected my request to leave the indoor space alone, it felt a bit invasive for a week-long stay. Some guests might appreciate the gesture, but I prefer more privacy. No drinking water was provided, so we had to buy some right after arriving—not a big deal, but it would’ve been a nice touch. On the plus side, Brant and Khadine were very responsive. On day one, I mentioned that branches were scraping against the room and making it hard to sleep—they had a gardener come quickly to trim them, which I really appreciated. The location is fantastic: steps from the beach and a 20–30 min walk to surf breaks. Two lovely cats add a sweet touch. Other "wins" = comfy beds, great hammocks, and a blender for smoothies :)

Karina’s place is a great place to get away. We’ve been there multiple times and love it. Steps from the beach. The beach is amazing here. Close to restaurants and surfing if that’s what you like. The house is well stocked and clean. Karina communicates well and responds quickly. Would recommend Karina’s place.

Liked this place a lot. I got a private room here to take a short break from the crowded hostel life. The folks here were super chill and cool. The owner Johnny is awesome. Very chill guy and super flexible and good with communication. Would highly recommend!

Margarita's place is a great spot for exploring nearby Popoya surf and comfortable enough to settle in with a book in the hammock after. Very close to a nearly empty beach nearby, and a 15-20 minute walk to the nearest surf breaks. Be sure to catch the fruit/veg truck when it goes by otherwise the nearby market has the essentials.

We stayed at this beautiful and cozy home in Las Salinas for 3 days. Three adults and a 3 year old toddler. The home is tastefully decorated with modern and rustic design with touches of native elements. Loved the local blue tile and local wood furniture. Comfy beds, linens & blankets. The A/C & water pressure was great. Filtered drinking water & basic cooking utensils are provided. Plenty of games to play with family or friends. A groundskeeper and or security guard is always on site and the property is gated. The home is close to the main paved road but there is a short drive on a dirt road. SUV recommended and 4x4 during rainy season. Zivile was great with communication prior to and during our stay. She made it a point to greet & welcome us to the home. The home was spacious and very well maintained. Overall great!

Excellent accomodation in Guasacate! We really enjoyed the garden seating, free coffee each morning (and afternoon), and easy walk to wherever you want to go. The wifi is decent but not sure how it would do with video calls. The staff was very friendly and they cleaned our room every few days which was nice when staying for a long time! Would definitely recommend this place to those that visit.

I stayed here for a month and really loved it! It's in a great location, not far from the two main beaches in the area, but also quiet and tucked away. Very tranquil. The house is super clean and has everything you need for a long-ish term stay. Zivile is an excellent host and is very helpful and responsive.
