Vacation rentals with breakfast in Mungkid

Sarah's place was a fitting choice for a family gathering. We had a private area with four tents, each offering different capacities. Unfortunately, one tent was unavailable due to storm damage the day before our arrival. However, the host was kind enough to offer us the villa, even though we ultimately didn't use it. The area was family-friendly with plenty of toys and communal games that kept everyone entertained. While meal options were limited as we couldn't order, buy, or cook on-site, the location's were not too far from nearby establishments. The highlight of our stay was the cozy bonfire. It's a unique and fun family experience!

I love this place. I stayed here for four nights to escape the central Yogya crowds. The view is pure, lush greenery with serene rice fields stretching out. The sounds are uniquely rural Javanese, from geckos and gamelan to prayers from the mosques. It’s a different world, just 20 minutes from the city centre, and all within reach. Food is readily available and delicious. The staff is polite and attentive. In my case, they stayed behind and let me enjoy peace and harmony in the blend of nature and culture. Thanks, I’ll be back!

A true paradise! Beautiful views, completely relaxed. A few restaurants are within walking distance. The plunge pool was well appreciated by our child (3). The communication with Achmed and the staff was great. Because we stayed there for longer, we got free breakfast. That was delicious, fresh fruit every day, steamed desserts in rice leaf and nasi or bami goreng. And the stay was cleaned daily. The living room is completely open, so if you don't like heat that's something to keep in mind. We loved it. In the two bedrooms there is AC.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Bluesteps. It was a great location, remote enough to feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but close enough to Jogja for anything you wanted to do. The food from the bluesteps restaraunt was very tasty, the local food was some of the best we had. The breakfast had good options and the team even prepared early on the days we had to head out for the day Finally the team and staff at bluesteps were great. They communicated so well with us that we felt at home from the moment we arrived. Novi and the whole team went the extra mile to look after us during our stay and showed such kindness to us! Anything we needed they were there, including last minute aloe Vera leaves 🙌

Hanna is a wonderful hostess and a great conversationalist! Our stay was truly memorable. We would love to return.

The villa itself is absolutely beautiful and exactly as it appears in the photos. We had an amazing time as a family of 7 + 1 fur baby (it’s a pet friendly homestay). It’s such a peaceful place with charming Javanese architecture and beautiful surroundings. It’s very calming and serene . I think this would be a perfect homestay for families, with loads of space. Wonderful breakfasts included every morning at no cost. The host very friendly, proactive and welcoming. Big thanks to Pak Fajar🙏🏻 I cannot speak highly enough. We have already recommended it to friends. We had a truly lovely stay at Mbah Cokro. It’s a super place to visit and everything was just perfect. We’d go again in a heartbeat.

When we first stumbled upon this villa on AirBnB, it seemed almost too good to be true. The villa is just perfect and had a great value! Kitchen is compact and contains everything we need. The bed is comfortable, bathroom, backyard and infinity pool are excellent. Location is good. They also provided us breakfast. The housekeeper was a great help. Thank you so much!

A small paradise, surrounded by nature and yet only 15 minutes from the center of Jogja. I had a wonderful weekend here: breakfast overlooking the rice fields, an on-site massage, a very nice team and generally an all-round carefree package. Highly recommended, I would come back immediately.
