By the Lake Beach House

Nice big open space upstairs for kids to play in. They had just finished some renovations which caused a few hiccups - no working overhead light + missing door handle in one room but the renovation made it a lot easier to sleep our party comfortably so we were happy. There was some construction dirt on the floors which we only noticed when our kids walked around barefoot but I can see how it was missed. My only constructive feedback would be to have more amenities in the kitchen, the can opener doesn't work at all, one of the knives is missing it's tip. Just generally feel like most of the kitchen items could use a refresh. Overall a positive experience and I could see us requesting the space again.

Our Guest Home

VictoriaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We absolutely loved our stay at Dalyce’s guest house. She met us to make sure we could find the house, filled the fridge with snacks for our toddler, provided our dogs with everything they would need, gave us a tour of the property, set up everything that we would need for the night, brought us over food for breakfast and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. If you’re still searching for places to stay, just stop and book here. You will not regret staying at this peaceful oasis. Between the hot tub, acreage for everyone to relax on and other amenities, you’ll be feeling refreshed and at peace by the end of the trip. If we ever find ourselves in Alberta again, we will be going back to the guest house. If you book here, you’ll completely understand what I mean.

A Frame in Forest Paradise

This was a wonderful "momcation" for me and my friend. The hosts were friendly and kind, offering us a great orientation to their beautiful property. The house was a little closer to their home than expected, but it ended up not mattering as it still felt very private. They have curated some gorgeous woodland trails and the setup in the house was comfortable and quiet. They have an outhouse for the toilet and I was skeptical because I hate pit toilets and the like, but the bathroom was bright, odorless, and clean, I was impressed! They came to check if we needed anything each morning, but respected our space and privacy otherwise. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Lakefront property summer & monthly winter rental

Debbie And LarryRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Robbie’s place seemed like a home away from home! We (three adults) came to visit our family, who also have a cabin here, and enjoy a winter holiday. We used to have a second home here, so we were also familiar with the surroundings and respectful of processes (ie water and sewage). Robbie was very welcoming and accommodating to our family’s needs. His place is very spacious, a full on house. We thoroughly enjoyed our mornings in the front room- cozy gas fireplace and pristine view of the snow covered lake. We really appreciated the entrance - a spacious driveway and walkway that was all cleared of snow for us! Great lighting, too! Made our entrances and exits, usually with our hands full, so much easier. We hope to stay here again!

Family Lake Escape: cabin on serene acre near lake

ChelseaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This cabin is great for young families! So many toys for kids, my 3 year old was very busy the whole time we were there. He was comfortable in his own room too! If you have a kid who loves the Cars movies then they will stay busy! It was a very comfortable stay.
