We loved staying at Familia House! Everyone was very welcoming and nice! The place was also incredible for our family of four! This was our first time in Diani and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay! Beach is less than 10 min walk away. They also have amazing dogs Mikki and Lala!😭❤️❤️ The chef was also amazing!! 10/10 experience, can’t wait to come back again in future!

Great place to stay. Secluded, private and wonderfully located. Kitchen staff superlative. Pool great for all the family. Very roomy.

We had wonderful days at Villa Shaanti, the house is as beautiful as in the pictures. Ibrahim, Faradi and Seth who work at the villa went out of their way to make sure we had a good time during our stay. We couldn't ask for better service. It has been a pleasure to visit Villa Shaanti and we would love to come again.

Angela place is awesome, a perfect home away from home. Very clean too. All supplies and amenities to ensure a comfortable stay are available. The home is very neat to. And is just awesome, a great communicator and a very hospitable person. Angela & her sister took on they own time to show me a magical Creek near they place «  KMA mtwapa », and other places … I’ve to mention Eric what a wonderful guest taker as well as 4* Chef thank you again for all the dinners ( shout out for the vegan meals ). Her place was definitely worth its value!! You will love it.

The place is in a beautiful location afew metres off the road. Uber and taxify services available too. It was cosy and homely, tranquil and big enough for a good number of people. Due to the hot weather at the Coast, the swimming pool served us greatly both day and night. Gilbert was available for any queries and Mwende ensured cleanliness at all times!The wi-fi is the only thing left to be worked on but otherwise we enjoyed our stay and will be back soon! Ahsante 😊

Very serene place to stay for holiday. Spacious rooms and lounge. Beautiful compound. Online taxi services are very affordable if one wants to move out and about. And very secure.

We have stayed at Gertrude's place in Mtwapa twice now, she is a great hostess and eager to provide a good experience. We communicated a few items that we needed to have updated and she took care of it. The main issue with this home is the lack of wifi and the lack of reception for cell / personal hotspot, especially for biz travelers it is tough for email / conference calls. Apart from that, we really enjoy staying at Gertrudes and definitely recommend it for folks wanting to stay nearby to Mtwapa and local beaches. Thanks again, Gertrude! :)

We had a group of 7, and had a wonderful experience. Josephine was very quick to respond and help with any issues we had. They were very accommodating with our check in/out and let us stay for a few extra hours on our last day before we left for the airport. The space was beautiful and in a great location. Do be aware when booking that the space isn’t very private, we constantly had people wandering around in front of our house, using the pool right out front, and doing laundry in the back part of our house. There were a few times it was a little bit uncomfortable but for the most part not a big deal. Overall we had a great stay and will be back in the future :)

Very nice place within Vipingo Ridge near the club house. Expect to rent a car to move around the area and get to the beach Clean and spacious and an excellent pool. Some issues with locking the house and rooms, as well as additional costs expected for staff. Nonetheless, very much enjoyed our stay.

Very nice place, we only had a little problem with aircon which was impossible to set temperature.

Great place to stay in Mombasa, it’s a safe and quiet place in otherwise hectic and not always safe city… Juliana was really helpful, navigating us to the apartment. It is 4 minute walk from a Nyali Mall where you can shop not only groceries and eat in great restaurant. The tuk-tuk to Old Town was about 300 KES. :)

Ndonya Kwetu is an absolute delight. We stayed for one week and it was one of the best places we've ever stayed in. Everything is exactly as described, except that still somehow undersells it. The apartment is furnished very well, all very comfortable and such a relief that everything works well. The Pool is fantastic and a great area to relax and unwind. This is an excellent base to stay as all the local Mombasa amenities and entertainment places are super close by, yet far enough away to escape from. The stay was so peaceful and relaxing. For a great self-catering holiday home, this is the place to come!! Thanks to all the hosts and staff who made us so welcome, we will be back!

would definately book again. only downside of cowrie shells is that you always gotta take a tuktuk boda or cab to reach a supermarket, bar or restaurant.

Vipingo Ridge is one of the best places to go for a family vacation. They have one of the best Golf courses in all of East Africa. Apart from playing golf, you can enjoy several other fun activities with the family. They have beach club houses and we enjoyed the beach side from there. The house we got is one of the best I have stayed on AirBnB. A beautiful 3 bedroom house with a swimming pool. The view every morning was breath taking. Our caretaker called Matano was a very polite guy who made our stay very comfortable. Rawhide our host was very great host and had all the information about Vipingo ready for us. I would highly recommend this house to any family looking for value, comfort and fun activities at Vipingo. It was an awesome experience for me and my family and we will definitely be back.

Being this was my first Air BNB I didn’t know what to expect but Njeri was able to help us alongside the hard working staff making us feel very welcomed and at home. Njeri also made sure to check up on us considering we were not very well prepared on food on arrival treating us like her very own family. Overall this location exceeded our expectations with the pool being the biggest game changer - Pictures do not Justice. One thing I may add is a driver is essential however this property really made our New Years trip to coast worth it by a long shot. Thank you soo much Njeri and wishing you all the best for the future.

I definitely would recommend a stay in this apartment. Steve was very friendly and helpful from the very first contact to our check out. The flat is very well situated, with a lot of space, comfortable, fully equipped, good and stable wifi etc., and an amazing view from the big balcony to the ocean. The apartment is also placed close to everything, the sea, the City Mall and nice restaurants. When I get back to Mombasa I will definitely book the same apartment again, if it’s available.
