We really enjoyed our stay at Ange’s place. Unfortunately we couldn’t make it up one of the nights due to the stormy weather but Ange was so considerate and offered to let us stay the following night instead, however we were moving further north. An extremely warm and welcoming host :)

This was such an incredible retreat spot! Very secluded, with one of the most breathtaking views of Te Ngaere Bay! Our favorite part was the open-air option to enjoy cooking & dining inside while being outside. Very clean, modern & incredible espresso machine to enjoy cappuccinos with the epic sunrise! We also found it nice to have your own trail down to the beach & private plunge pool. Be prepared for a climb back up for some good exercise! Worth it… especially when you can take a nice cold (or hot) outdoor shower! Great communication & care from Kas & Rhys- they are awesome hosts!

It was genuinely amazing, the cabin was peaceful and so secluded which we loved. Had everything you needed and more. We especially appreciated how helpful and friendly Gunter was, we said we would be arriving after dark and Gunter took the liberty to wait for us so we could follow him to the cabin. This was great considering how deep into the bush the cabin is located and we honestly don’t think we would’ve found it without his help. Would recommend this place to anyone

Top House is on its own headland, super private and quiet. Incredibly peaceful outside and cosy inside. Spotlessly clean and has everything you need. A lovely, light and airy abode with breathtaking 270 degree views over the bays and only 7 mins drive from Russell and 15 mins to the lovely Sage restaurant.

A little piece of paradise! Presentation was immaculate, very clean and organised with everything you could possibly need, the finishes and styling give it sophistication and warmth with a few luxuries like an outdoor bath and rain shower head, both with a million dollar view. The view is rediculous and the hut is positioned perfectly so you are not missing a second of it no matter what you are doing. It was probably one of the most peaceful and relaxing get aways we have had. Anthea & Justin are very friendly hosts, extremely helpful and accommodating, and pleasant to communicate with. If I could make one change it would have been to stay longer. Definitely next time.
