We loved our stay at the Bluegrass Barbie! Everything was just as beautiful as described.

Dave made us feel like family. The home is quite comfortable. Dave made sure we had plenty of everything we would need. We hope to stay at his home the next time we are in town.

Just a little difficult to find as it is behind the liquor store..not actually on the road. We also didn’t realize how must we would miss not having WiFi! A tv downstairs would have been nice. A beautiful spotless home!!!

Myself and two friends were attending a conference at Kentucky Wesleyan College and this house was a great location. We walked back and forth with ease. The house is very roomy with a great back porch and yard. We would definitely stay there again!

Just came down for work but my son and I enjoyed it very much! The price was very reasonable and we would love to come back to your place if we have to come back to work there! Thank you

As advertised. Nice home for a reasonable price. I highly recommend "The Oven" pizza place which is close by. River view was nice.

We just loved this house. It's an older home that has been tastefully updated and still has its older charm and character. It's not a particularly large home but is the perfect size for a couple of nights in town.

Loved our stay here. Place was easy to find. It was nice and clean. Lori and her husband were very nice and chatty. Very responsive too! It was a wonderful home away from home! Would recommend and do plan on staying here in future visits!

Such a wonderful house! Host even left things in case you forgot anything. More than enough towels. Rooms were very large. Pool was very inviting with the slide and diving board! Also played a little basketball with the kids! We are already planning on when to come back. House was very nice! Had a great time!

This was a lovely weekend getaway location, very close to some of southern Illinois' natural wonders! The cabin provided a private and cozy space to stay, cook, and relax. We would love to visit again someday!

The house was beautiful. It was peaceful and relaxing, which is exactly what we needed. The only thing that would have made this stay better is if I could have taken the master bathroom and kitchen and put it in my own house! The bed was super comfortable which is always a risk when staying somewhere. I will say, we have stayed at other homes that will take off some of the price if you don’t use all the bedrooms and bathrooms (they keep them locked if not needed) and that would have been nice here, as we did not use two of the bedrooms and one of the bathrooms, but it will not stop us from staying here again in the future! We will definitely be booking again.

Rodney was a fantastic host. He was quick to reply to any questions we had. The house was exactly as pictured. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had many options of pillows (some soft, some firm, some extra fluffy!) everything in the house was thoughtful from the pillows to the the light switches with labels to what they went to! We will definitely stay there again next year.

This property was a lovely home away from home. It was roomy, very nicely furnished with comfortable beds and upscale furniture. The location was great for getting to events on both sides of Evansville and Newburg. Even though its location is on a main road it was very quiet even in the back yard.

We are returning guests and and have always enjoyed our stay. The Bungalo is very private space with generous space to relax. The view overlooks the historical brick roads of the courthouse square and is walking distance to stores and restaurants.

Words cannot express how beautiful this place is! Complete peace and solitude, surrounded by nature. I came for rest and relaxation and got it! Home was clean and did not lack anything, plenty amenities. Perfect location to catch breathtaking sunrises and sunsets! Paula was always quick to help out and very communicative! She was very kind, patient, and friendly, thank you Paula! Definitely want to stay again.

Rebecca was a great host. Attentive to needs and quick to respond. Their home was lovely and exactly what we needed for our stay! Within 10 minutes of most places like walmart and restaurants. Very easy to navigate to and from. Would definitely stay here again.
