Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Mount Stirling Alpine Resort

Fire + Ice was a lovely, clean, cosy home and had everything we needed for our new year weekend getaway. We went during the summer months and the Delatite river is just a stone's throw away and the kids had a great time there. The firepit at the house was also a favourite of everyone. Caroline and Duncan were amazing hosts and communication was always prompt, friendly and clear. Will be a great spot for winter as the place is only a 15 minute drive away from Mt.Buller.

Beautiful place with lots of amenities. Had the pleasure of seeing deer right up to the property. Very peaceful great for family getaway.

A lovely spot, very quiet and peaceful, amongst the bushland. Well placed to get up to Buller. Property was very comfortable and worked great for my wife, two of our kids and dog.

My family and I had a fantastic weekend away. The house was clean and in great condition. Lots of necessities provided as well as clear instructions on checkout. Views from the house were incredible. Lots of wildlife we could see from the property too, birds, deer and cows next door. Price was extremely reasonable and lower than others in the area. Amanda was great to converse with, allowed for flexible check in and was quick to respond. Definitely worth the stay. Can’t wait to come back again

Our stay at Stirling Lodge was exceptional. It’s a really well equipped airbnb with everything you need and more. Beds were comfortable and location is wonderful. We loved the personal touches of coffee machine, soda stream and gifts of local wine, chocolate and coffee beans! There was plenty of wood and we enjoyed having the fireplace. We would like to come in warmer months to enjoy the pool and nearby river and would suggest the addition of a drying room/cupboard for ski gear during the winter months! We hope to stay again ☺️

This place is amazing! Everything was made easy from check in to check out. Tracy is an amazing host who responded right away and took care of us for the whole weekend that we were there. The scenery was beautiful and the animals that came to visit were so amazing to look at! Definitely would come back again in the future ❤️

Wonderful place to stay We were lucky enough to have warm weather so spent the whole time down in/ by the river. The kids and adults loved the location. Everything we needed was there and the large dining table seated 10 comfortably. Just be aware sprinkler system goes on where the seating area is so don’t leave towels or anything overnight Will definitely be on my top list of holiday spots to revisit

Perfect place to stay! Very close to the centre of town, a nice spacious apartment with all the amenities we could want. Comfortable and clean living areas, a beautiful large balcony, comfortable beds, and modern clean bathrooms. Ed was a great host and always responsive with clear instructions for us.

We have stayed here before and it is a perfect resting place after a long day of skiing. Easy, clean, comfortable.

Ingrid and Nick were fantastic hosts who answered all our questions, provided everything we required and were so accommodating. Could not recommend highly enough.
