The interior utilizes the texture of the concrete and the open space with the ceiling pulled out.The exterior exterior is an unimaginable stylish design to stimulate your sensibilities. Kyoto Seifuan is a private inn in a Kyoto townhouse, located a little way down an alley from the bank of the Shirakawa River in Higashiyama Sanjo. Also, the alley in front is very quiet, with almost no traffic, so you can spend plenty of time relaxing. Kyoto Seifuan is a 4-minute walk from Higashiyama Station on the Tozai Line, with good transportation and shopping, and you can also walk to nearby temples, Heian Jingu, Yasaka Shrine, Kiyomizu Temple, and Gion. Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen areas to make your stay more comfortable while still retaining the charm of the townhouse, such as the low ceilings and narrow, steep stairs. Our guesthouse is located in the old town called Nara-machi. There used to be many traditional wooden townhouses known as Machiya. We restored Machiya while keeping the original structure in order to provide you with a traditional Japanese experience with local atmosphere.This house is for only private use and has only one floor with Japanese style room, shower room, washroom, sink and small garden.
