Minsyuku IZUTSUYA

Wonderful stay! The host was very helpful and always replied in a promptly manner. The bedroom and common areas were spotless. We took advantage of the homemade dinner and breakfast offer. It was delicious! It is easy to go to Ine either via a short bus ride or a 20-25 minute walk. We really enjoyed this seaside stay!

Kominka Guest House Kurayoshi, a renovated 105-year-old traditional house

DenisRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A huge thanks for this wonderful stay ! The house was amazingly beautiful and the host was super generous ! Not only did he took us at the station and to the restaurant : he advised us on the hike we wanted to do and drove us to the starting point of our hike ! An amazing getaway in the countryside : a lot to discover around (Kurayoshi, Mount Mitoku, Tottori…) couldn’t recommend more !

An old house surrounded by nature and folk art in Iwami-cho, Tottori Prefecture, 20 minutes by bus from the sand dunes, a 1-minute walk from the pleasure boat boarding area, and seafood too

Our experience here was amazing! We were taken care of in every aspect and the host went above and beyond! Breakfast was the perfect addition to our stay as well. The homemade strawberry jam and delicious eggs were a highlight! We will definitely be back 😊

Live like a small house by the sea in a quiet seaside uminoie Mousska

NongporncRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We truly enjoyed our stay here! The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. It felt just like home. The beach is right across the street, and the host’s café behind the house is absolutely charming (open Fri–Sun). We wish it had been open during our stay! The area is quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing with family. There are several cute cafes and local restaurants nearby, though most close around 5 PM. One special thing was teaching our kids how to sort waste the Japanese way — such a meaningful experience! The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel like we were visiting family. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a warm, peaceful stay with a personal touch. We’d love to come back again!

I stayed with my wife and dog (Golden Retriever).I booked the day before my stay, but they handled it very quickly. There is a convenience store nearby, and there is also a JA Farmers, which was convenient for procuring ingredients. We had a deeply emotional night, feeling the 120-year history of the building and the life that was there. The Goemon-style bath was also pleasant, and I used it in the morning.I'm grateful for the casually placed babu. This time, the length of our stay was short, but we will plan to revisit when the cherry blossoms are in bloom along the river and the clouds are more visible, so that we can stay longer.

He told me a lot about the surroundings and politely explained the facility. He was a friendly person and very easy to talk to.The accommodation was clean and equipped with everything, and we had a comfortable stay. The wood stove was very warm, and the body and heart warmed up.♨️ I would like to stay again✨ I would also like you to try the Durian Challenge that was at the cafe😆 (Is it for a limited time?)

100-year-old Traditional Japanese house (whole)

AlexRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had such a lovely time in Miayazu, and got to know Meg too. The house is absolutely beautiful, and a real highlight of our trip. But what we enjoyed the most was a morning spent fishing with Meg and Hasushi - I would thoroughly recommend booking this with Meg before you arrive.
