Cabin vacation rentals in Mount Hermon

We ( myself and 2 of my friends) stayed here for a dog sports event nearby and David was very generous to let us stay, and include our 9 total dogs. Cozy little cabin with all of the amenities and we had a great stay.

This was the perfect place for a long weekend getaway. The property is beautiful and quiet, exactly what we were looking for. The tub and deck were our favorite parts of the trip. Highly recommend for a relaxing trip.

We loved our stay! We shared the cabin with another family and we had such an enchanted weekend there. The house is very comfortable and the big porch is incredible. The grounds were amazing, we loved exploring the cypress swamp, running in the woods and spending time up and down the creek. At night we built fires, star-gazed and enjoyed the hot-tub. Both the kids and adults had a great time.

We had an amazing visit. Very secluded and private. Cabin was clean, cute, and roomy, but also cozy. Outdoor areas were beautiful and relaxing.

We absolutely loved our stay! The farm and surrounding area is beautiful, hot tub was amazing, and it was perfect for a quiet getaway. Would definitely stay again!

The cabin is located in a tranquil rural setting, and the hosts are friendly and easy to get in touch with. Both the Bogue Chitto State Park and supermarkets and restaurants are a relatively short 30-minute drive away. We enjoyed our stay here!

We wish we could've stayed longer in this lovely house on pleasant farmland. The wide porch on the front and beautiful screened porch on the back of the house deserved more time than we were able to give them on this visit. We hope to be back in the future!

Peaceful, serene setting… great getaway weekend for our anniversary!

My family traveled here from Florida, and we absolutely adored this place! It was so easy to find and enter. It's actually so big and spacious, the pictures don't do it justice. It's so peaceful and relaxing exploring the land and we didn't want to leave. Terry was very accommodating and let us stay an extra day! We would deffinately love to stay again!

Beautiful and so peaceful! Our family of 9 loved waking up early in the morning to listen to the beautiful birdsong and watch the fog roll off the pond. Our kiddo crew loved catching and releasing frogs and watching the wildlife. The home was pristine and immaculately kept. A cool feature was having the walking trails on-site! A sweet addition from the owners Aaron and Linda was having wood delivered, for evenings spent around the fire.

I truly enjoyed the "small life" afforded by the "cabin". I always enjoy interesting and non-conventional accommodations, and this stay did not disappoint. Abita Springs is a lovely town, and the Abita Coffee House is absolutely divine. When I head back to Covington, I will stay with D+S. Cheers!

Loved this place on the River. Jeanne’s home was very cozy, and clean. She had all the amenities, and it was a very easy check in. We enjoyed our stay, and the back porch, even in the rain! We didn’t use any of the chairs or the stuff for the River, but she is well stocked!! Loved that she had nice, cozy blankets and good towels!

thanks a ton for accommodating our group at the last minute. pour place was just what we needed. clean, cheaper than multiple rooms and close to the strawberry festival. hope to visit again

We visited the area for our annual family reunion/Easter gathering. We’ve stayed at a few Airbnb’s and VRBO places around the area and this was definitely a favorite of ours! Our boys, ages 8 and 16, both enjoyed the fishing pond and the pool table. The cabin is in a secluded area and very peaceful. The host was very friendly and responded to messages quickly.

The Bayou Bromeliad was incredible. I went with my two sisters for our annual sister's weekend. Both sisters have young kiddos and therefore were seeking a quiet, relaxing getaway. This location was the ticket - you didn't have to think about anything as every question you could have had was already answered whether through the wonderful welcome packet and the labeled drawers and shelves (a personal favorite, wow!). The nature all around us was terrific - it rained park of the weekend and it was so peaceful to sit and puzzle inside while listening to the rain outside. We did our food shopping at the Piggly Wiggly Express up the road (great suggestion) and literally had everything we needed and more! The proximity to Covington also makes this a convenient location if you are looking to explore an adorable town + have a getaway!! Would enjoy going back during the cooler months in which we could have used the fireplace! Thank you for making us TX gals feel right at home in the Bayou!

This was a peaceful and beautiful stay. Very clean and had ever we needed. Sonya was very friendly and responsive during our stay.

This place is truly a slice of heaven. The property and trails are so well maintained, and the cabin has everything you need to fully enjoy the outdoors. I am already planning my next visit!

My 2nd time staying here. Had an issue with the AC but was able to move me to another cabin. Beautiful and quiet are what I like about this place.

Hunter was super responsive to start. I thought the main bedroom had a queen bed but it was actually a sofa pull out from the living room. Yikes!! Sleeper sofas are mostly uncomfyBut I decided not to fret about it. Upon arriving, we were able to get in with the code number. We had to run to the wedding venue to set up and when we returned, we could not get back in. We used the same code. Meanwhile, I called and texted Hunters phone with no response. We tried again many times and it finally opened. Afraid it may occur again, we left the door unlocked to go to the wedding. On return I slept on the sofa, which was quite comfy. No pillows tho.The sheets were shoved in a sideboard unfolded w pillowcases. Comforters were jammed into a tall basket. Clean or not I couldn’t tell. I ended up using one sheet and pillows from an upstairs bed. All that said I WOULD STAY AGAIN! I think these are all fixable problems that would make the listing perfect. Hunter, watch the maids and fix that lock!!

We have been staying at this location for months now and the host and the ones at the cabins are amazing! They are always so helpful and so accommodating. They have made our stay amazing. Well worth it!

if you like camping, but you want running water a toilet and a shower and a comfortable bed. This is a place for you. You’re still going to be bothered by your regular pest that you would have outside but not nearly as much and there is Internet, but it’s out in the country so I hope you would enjoy the surroundings instead of trying to be online!
