There is an abundance of beautiful walks with a selection of river valleys, waterfalls and giant trees.

Reconstructed sandstone barn set on working asparagus farm offers comfort and seclusion. Features expansive glass areas and generous verandah/pergola. The garden features English trees planted in colonial settlement days circa 1807 to 1850. Accommodation located within 10 minutes drive to the spectacular MOUNT FIELD NATIONAL PARK. Cottage was built in the early 1900's in the picturesque Derwent Valley. The cottage is set on 13 acres and is private with your own fully fenced yard. We give you your privacy but if you need us, we are close by to assist. The cottage makes a welcoming break between Hobart and Strahan. Cottage caters to children over 12 years of age only.

The cottage is located less than 200m from the Maydena Bike Park base and 15min from Mount Field National Park.
