A country escape for nature lovers. Very spacious with large lounge dining room leading out to front deck with spectacular views along with 2nd sitting room with a BBQ deck. The Eaglehawk Hotel was perfect for our family gathering of eight people. The hotel had ample room for us all to find our own space as well as congregate all together. The kitchen was perfect for cooking for ourselves and the dining area felt like you were dining in an expensive restaurant. We were impressed by every aspect of the accommodation, a true gem. Well done on putting together such a classy venue.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Julie's peaceful cottage. Highlights were enjoying the bush surrounds on the walking trails at the back of the property and playing with the friendly dogs. The hosts were great with communication and even gave us a little farm tour on before check out. Would stay again!

Had a wonderful stay at Madeline’s home. It is beautiful renovated and we felt right at home. Madeline was flexible with check in and her place was perfect for four adults and two kids- with the amount of bathrooms and bedrooms we felt comfortable without being on top of one another. Central location to the main st with a quick five min walk to all amenities. Would absolutely stay again. Thanks so much for sharing your home Madeline :)

We had such a lovely stay at Emily and Aaron's gorgeous home and farm. The home looked exactly like the photos and was the perfect spot to escape for a long weekend, relax and recharge. My children loved the trampoline, bikes, swing and feeding the goats (and of course the AppleTV and WIFI!). And my husband and I loved the food, wine and ability to just put our feet up and not worry about anything! We arrived to a delicious antipasto platter and bottles of their wonderful wine! We then enjoyed delicious wood fired pizzas, burgers, home-made banana bread, smoothies and more over the course of the weekend. Emily and Aaron - thank you for your fabulous hospitality! We look forward to returning again soon :)

We had a wonderful escape for a couple of nights in a really peaceful and beautiful setting. While I could talk about how it matched its description, that the place was spotless, or that sitting in front of the fire felt so homely, there were a couple of things that stood out for me personally. Firstly, as someone who has managed to have tatami rooms in a few houses that I have lived in, and unfortunately doesn't have the space now, being able to sit on tatami and just chat was just lovely. Secondly, as someone who has spent many hours in sento in Japan, being able to sit on a stool and wash before hopping in a deep bath brought back wonderful memories. So all in all, a wonderful space with a really responsive host.

We had a wonderful secluded getaway weekend in Redesdale thanks to Hashani. Her home was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. We especially loved the 7 burner cooktop! Perfect for a special dinner. Hashani was also an incredibly thoughtful and helpful host. I’d highly recommend her stay!

Such a nice little home! Had everything we needed and great location to the town (short stroll to cafe, supermarket and pub) Only downfall was that tv did not have streaming available. Be sure to bring dvds or cable to connect laptop. Will be staying again for sure when I get the chance :)

I really enjoyed my stay. It was such a quiet peaceful location and the room was thoughtfully stocked with everything I needed. Virginia appeared with an incredibly generous basket full of provisions. Plenty for breakfasts and more. There is an amazing array of collectibles in the room. I would need to stay there for a week to appreciate them all. Clean cosy and homely. A much needed respite from the busyness of Melbourne. Thank you Virginia and Peter.

Stayed with friends at this very comfortable home in the township of Maldon, a haven for lovely architecture and history, as well as the quirky. Excellent places to eat, although we loved equally to say home for meals at Steven's little cottage too. Everything was there that we needed to cook up a storm of food and fun in the kitchen and at the bbq with friends. The beds were so cozy, comfy, the rooms themselves delightful with plenty of storage for an extended stay. The dining room and sitting room were also homely comfy with a fascinating and enjoyable collection of ornaments to enjoy and wonder about their histories. At night the skies are dark, nice for a bit of astro-photographical practice and in the morning, birds galore. Lots to see and do around Maldon, but you will need a car for many of these, including the wonderful Castlemaine only 15 minutes drive away.
