There is a john boat which is quite old, uses paddles, and is in fair shape (feel free to bring your canoe or john boat.). A paddleboat and paddleboard are available for guest use and swimming. This is my personal home in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood in the south part of town, minutes from downtown, UA, the Riverwalk, amphitheater, nightlife, restaurants & stores. The primary bedroom has a plush, cozy king bed & double vanity in the en suite bathroom. There are queen beds in the other 2 bedrooms. The LR comfortably seats 6. We have high speed WiFi & smart TVs. The fully equipped kitchen seats 6. The outside patio has more eating space & lounge area where smoking is allowed.

We loved our stay at the tiny house! It was easy to find with Madeleine's directions, and very convenient from Tuscaloosa. The house itself is a wonderful little gem, cozy and comfy for those looking to unwind. While the location does have neighbors, it still manages to feel private. The porch overlooking the water was our favorite thing. Absolutely peaceful and great place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or glass of wine in the evening. Would 100% book and stay here again!

My younger son and I came to Alabama to see/hear one of my daughters in an opera! Stephen and Lynsey's place was really wonderful. Two bedrooms with very comfy beds, a clawfoot tub (out of this world!), a full kitchen, and peace and quiet yet proximity to every convenience. Great communication, kind people -- what more could anyone ask for? :-) I would definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay. Our only con was the WFI connection was very spotty and sometimes nonexistent. The apartment was really cozy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. Miss Ann kept us updated on what was going on and even let us use the cellar space when there was a tornado warning.
