The white plastered earthen walls, natural Kenji-ji bamboo fences, and other features have been gradually renovated and revitalized (currently in the process of revitalization).Originally an old house opened as an almost 100% inbound accommodation.We are conducting a semi open-air bath in the interior of the warehouse and renovation work centered around the water. ■ Soothing moss garden ■ There are three gardens: a front garden, a courtyard, and a back garden. Well water flows everywhere, and there is a stream that flows between the water basin, the gourd, the deer repeller, and the stepping stones. The pond is home to koi, goldfish, medaka, conger eel, and river shrimp, and it is a biotope space where wild birds visit. ■ Chick-in lounge (cafe/bar space), souvenir corner ■ You can drink authentic cocktails on the first floor of the main building.There is a souvenir corner with imported interior goods, accessories, natural stone, and more from Japan, Bali, and other countries.

Shodoshima, 30 seconds to the sea, you can see the sea from any room

This house is built on the quiet seaside in Shodoshima Town. The house was built just for dusk watching the sea and the sunset.Therefore, I apologize for the large number of stairs on the terrace, but I can never call it barrier-free.(I will do my best to help with my luggage, etc.) However, at the end of the high terrace, there is a glittering, calm and beautiful sea in Setouchi, and a kane-colored sunset that changes faces every day. Forget your time and enjoy the extraordinary. *We are currently not allowing pets to stay at the property. Please contact us before booking if you would like to use this service. The interior is accessed by climbing the terrace stairs.It is not handicap accessible. Please be sure to accompany small children or adults when climbing up and down the stairs. Also, on rainy days, there are many stairs, so it may be inconvenient. The road in front of the inn is not paved. Please note that this may be an inconvenience. There is a lot of nature around the inn, so there are definitely insects.Sometimes insects come in together when opening and closing windows and doors.(Especially at night, insects gather in the light of the inn) We are very sorry, but please refrain from staying if you are not good with insects.

You can see the Seto Inland Sea, and on the first floor, you can cook in a stylish kitchen while watching the sunset in front of the sea. On the second floor, you can watch the sunset on the terrace. One queen-sized Integra Tokyo bed.　One Koala sofa bed that converts to a queen size bed. There is one Airweave double bed on the second floor. It can accommodate up to 4 people. Natural yeast bread for breakfast, Rodin coffee, and included. We use tableware made by local artists such as Mustakibi and Ryusenkama.We use Iori towels from Imabari Towels.　The sheets are made of linen. If you need dinner, you can use the adjacent Shioji restaurant for guests only. Transportation to and from the station is free. We will deliver a rich and memorable experience. Sakura-sou/Naoshima Guest House Sakura-so, a 50-year-old house, whole house rental, 2-6 guests

I've updated the photos of the room. The bunk bed in the Western-style room has been removed and replaced with two single beds. The maximum number of guests has been changed to 6. If you already have a reservation for 7 or more people, you can stay with the same number of people without any changes. Naoshima has become a tourist destination not only for Japan but also for the whole world. What changes, what doesn't. Each blends naturally, and the air flows in a way that can only be experienced in Naoshima. You'll feel it even more by staying on Naoshima. Sakura-so opened in the summer of 2014. It is a guest house with a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere. 5-minute walk from the center of Naoshima's Miyanoura. It is located in a very quiet place. There is a Japanese-style room with futons (up to 4 people) and a Western-style room with 2 single beds (2 people). You are renting the entire property. This is a private inn attached to a renovated warehouse cafe. It is a safe and convenient location within walking distance of the limited express station, shopping district, and the famous "Zenigata sand painting". At the end of the garden, there is a large river and the famous mountain of "Sora no Torii", where you can enjoy a pleasant walk along the river in the morning, walk around the city during the day, and enjoy the garden lights at night. There is a small river and a nice old house of Japanese style next to the house .The tool of the barbecue is prepared. （Please bring an ignition agent and charcoal） it's comfortable in summer as the temperature is a few degrees lower than in the city. As of 2024, mobile phones have become much easier to connect to. （no wi-fi） The air conditioner was installed in 2022, but it is only on the first floor.Enjoy the natural air. There is a fan. Firewood isn't available from May as it will be warmer.
