Cottage vacation rentals in Moss Vale

The cottage is lovely facing a paddock of horses and cows. We loved being so close to nature. The interior was warm and full of character. We loved loved our stay. We came for winery tours and wine tastings famous in the local area. And in the evening enjoyed warming up in the outdoor jacuzzi that Sam kindly made up for us with a fire. Highly recommend this experience.

Our only negative about our stay is that we didn't choose to stay longer. Banksia Park cottages in Kangaoo Valley are located in a truly magical place. Beautifully scenic and serene and totally surrounded by nature. We sparked up the fire pit as soon as we got there and had it going until we went to sleep. Everything was great

Banksia Park is so beautiful. It’s location, it’s vistas, the nature and facilities. We loved Sam the resident Labrador, spotting an echidna, the other animals, the trampoline, the nature, the pool, spa and perfect BBQ areas. The roo bar and laundry was a bonus. Love, love the green credentials, the solar and how everything is very well maintained and kept clean.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Byres, such a peaceful rural location, rolling green hills the sound of the cows and yet only 9 mins to Berry and 7 mins to Shoalhaven. The house was well equipped, we made great use of the outdoor spa and the coffee machine, glad that the rooms had fans and the master had aircon, comfy beds. Loved it all! Would definitely recommend this property and we hope to book again in the future.

Absolutely beautiful cottage set amongst some of the most beautiful gardens and trees, amazing spa hotub and the cosiest fireplace on cool nights. Highly recommend.

Such a cozy and cute cottage for a peaceful, relaxing getaway. We loved staying here - seeing the horses and cows, and relaxing in the hot tub. Kate was very responsive as well for anything we needed.

We needed a place to unwind and reconnect - turn off the devices - this is THE place. Donkeys, pigs, sheep, pool, table tennis, volleyball, amazing walk to river and a swim, kangaroos and wallabies everywhere. Hard to beat. Highly recommend. Ps the fire of a night really finished off a great weekend.

We had such a lovely stay, made even better by Maria - a delightful, kind and generous host! The cottage is cosy and has everything you need, the hot tub is a delight in winter, and the chooks gifted us some eggs for breakfast!

We had a wonderful two nights at the cottage, Natalie’s instructions are very clear and concise in checking in. At first you feel like you’re in a cottage and surroundings that could be at least over 100yo but beautifully presented, until you read the story in the cottage info book and realise it’s only around 20yo and that a lot of the material is from famous buildings and locations across not only Australia but the world. Great kitchen, very well appointed, heated floors in the bathrooms, great coffee machine, fire place and bbq. Would stay there again in a heart beat. Thanks Natalie

We had a great weekend at Luke’s house, it was a great location with a short easy walk to a beautiful beach. The house had all we could ask for BBQ, fire pit, outdoor eating area and great views. Beds were comfortable with plenty of sleeping options and all the appliances imaginable. Luke was quick with his communication and gave us a very generous late check out . Highly recommended.

Our family had a wonderful two-night stay at Andrea's property! Its prime location, just 1-2 minutes from Kendall's Beach and a quick 5-minute drive to Kiama Blowhole, made exploring major tourist attractions incredibly easy. The property was beautifully managed, and Andrea's excellent responsiveness truly enhanced our experience. We can't wait to visit again!

We stayed at Cottage for a couple of nights and the place was absolutely treat! Beautiful house with all the details that they put into each space was amazing. The location was spot on and we walked to the town for breakfast, lunch and shopping for less than 5mins. Also there are a couple of nice walk trails around the house. Lastly, I slept well on their amazing comfy bed during my stay! Thank you for lovely hospitality Jo and Greg. We will definitely visit this lovely place again.

We had a lovely stay at Knoxberry Farm with our 4 yo. Location is excellent, lovely outlook from the large windows and deck to trees and field beyond and just a few minutes drive in to town. We went for scenic runs along the quiet road. The cottage is compact, we loved the big beds and hotel bedding, very comfortable. We did all our cooking on the bbq on the covered deck in sunshine or torrential rain, great setup with a fire pit in the garden as well.

What a wonderful place! Wheelchair accessible, very quiet, rural vista and within easy reach of towns and activities. Our last stay at Mungo Lodge in February was just as good. Looking forward to our next booking.

Argyle cottage was the perfect place for our girly weekend away. It was so peaceful, the home was in top notch condition and squeaky clean. Both bedrooms have a bathroom, the kitchen had everything we needed and it just felt so lovely and relaxing there. Chris was kind to pop the heating on for us before we arrived too which was so appreciated being a chilly and rainy autumn day that we arrived. Chris was super helpful and quick to respond with any questions l had as well. Would 100% come stay again and would suit a girly weekend, a family stay or a romantic getaway for anyone.

Perfect location for a weekend getaway. Just off the Main Street and close to all Bowral, Berrima and Fitzroy Falls.

We had the best time at Ken’s place. Photos do not do it justice, the cabin is stunning and the property is beautiful. We booked last minute and Ken was super responsive, kind and flexible. I noted in my messages that we were so excited for the fireplace as it has been cold, when we arrived, the fire was preset for us and the cabin was nice and warm. There was hay we could feed the horses, the kids really loved that experience and the cabin is well equipped. The bath is really luxurious and deeper than normal, perfect spot for a glass of wine and some relaxing. We already have plans for a longer trip to Berry to return to Ken’s place. The location is great too, only about 1km from the centre of Berry but so quiet and expansive that you wouldn’t know. Overall, this is one of the nicest AirBNBs I have ever booked. We will be back.

Ainslie’s place in Moss Vale was absolutely beautiful, clean, and peaceful. She was proactive at ensuring our trip was running smoothly, and to give us all of the local recommendations and insider knowledge! The house was very well stocked with everything needed. Would definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hurdle Cottage. The setting was beautiful and peaceful, the view amazing and the house so comfortable. We were two families each with two children and we had plenty of room. The kids loved looking for wombats in the homestead paddock and Berrima was just minutes away. We can’t wait to come back. Had the best time at Canyonleigh. Tranquil location, gorgeous animals and access to a river. The place itself was very well equipped, clean and tidy. The best part about the entire stay however was Mel. She was extremely responsive and available for all of our queries. She offered a farm experience to us in the morning. When we needed honey, cinnamon and extra towels she was quick to provide. Furthermore we needed a ride into Bowral and she not only offered to give us one, but gave as quite an informed and impassioned tour of the area. We had the best time and would love to revisit again. Our cup feels very full now and I am really grateful!

Lyre's cottage is immaculate, atmospheric, stylish and cosy with luxurious features, excellent use of space and considerate details which really make you feel taken care of Jen and Jacob are genuinely kind and accommodating people and while the cottage has the main house behind and neighbours fairly close to one side, the area is perfectly peaceful and Jen and Jacob are highly considerate hosts, so it doesn't deter from the bush setting at all Use of space: many sitting areas for different moods which maximise the cosy footprint Luxury features: high open ceiling, heated bathroom floors, fireplace fan for ease of use and circulation of heat, great insulation Jen and Jacob: a small example that sums up our hosts; it was a cold weekend and they noticed we were low on firewood and placed a bucket on the edge of the cottage fence with a message via AirBnB. This was proactive and caring while still respecting our privacy Can't recommend Lyre's Cottage enough!
