Great place for families travelling through Moshi

A nice place for a group of friends or family. We felt right at home. Roberto was great at hosting and very flexible with the group of us there. The house is on the marathon route if you are in Moshi for the Kili Marathon. A quiet and peaceful place and shopping and good restaurants are a walking distance. Very good value for money. We shall definitely be back.

Shara and Jakob’s place is an oasis of peace and incredible value for money. They will help you with everything you could possibly need - from airport pickup to transfers and activities in the area. Also, Shara’s home cooked food is wonderful!

Staying at Waridi’s place was lovely. Perfect little stay for a weekend in Moshi!

Sarah's place is amazing. Living in her apartment felt like home. Kitchen laundry access big plus. was able to prepare my own meals. The place is organized and you will have your privacy. I will definitely come back.

My mother and I stayed at Ole's place for a week to attend my son's graduation from UWCEA. The home was beautiful and a nice place to relax. The watchman met us to open the gate for us and the keybox was easy to use to access the house. On a clear day, you can sit on the back porch and enjoy views of Kilimanjaro in the late afternoon. Ole provides helpful tips on using the kitchen, and there are facilities for washing clothing as well. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a place in Shantytown who either has a private vehicle, is willing to use motorbikes for transport, or who doesn't mind walking to Lema Rd to look for a bajaji.

There were 6 of us and Delphie's place worked perfectly for our stay. Edmund, the caretaker picked us up at our midnight arrival in Kilimanjaro and we ended up using his services and expertise throughout our trip! He runs a small company called ELE Adventures and we booked them for a Waterfall hike / coffee experience tour as well as a Two day Safari. The prices were the best and they were extremely knowledgeable and flexible with our requests. Highly recommend!!

Emmanuel was great. He responded to a very last minute request for booking. Within 10 minutes I was confirmed. The place is comfortable and cozy. The location is not far from town so it’s easy to get to the mountain and to the store.
