Our comfortable villa, accommodating 4 with 2 bedrooms and a big living room, is in a gorgeous and quiet area, right next to the splendid beach of Ponta Preta and only a few minutes away from the lively town of Vila, with its own beach, restaurants and friendly locals. The house is facing the ocean, with an exceptional view. From the terrace upstairs, you can see even whales in season. Come here to relax and enjoy Maio, as a couple, a family, or a group of friends. Stella Maris is a very well maintained conduminium. Many plants and flowers and well kept grounds. Our villa Atùn was on a corner with a nice terrace with sea views and very close to the pool. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Bernard and Valerie were particularly welcoming and available. The space was sparkling functional and clean and matching the photos. The place is very quiet and relaxing and even if a little far from the city, everything is available in the adjoining village.

Kindly Bernard agreed to pick us up for free from our previous accommodation. He accommodated us in a larger, very nice house. Valerie and Bernard do everything to make our stay enjoyable: bike loan, informed advice, we really enjoyed the visit to her friend Raphaël Colicci who founded the Maioasis agroforestry farm:an extraordinary project to develop autonomous farms for social and solidarity purposes on the island of Maio.
