We loved staying on the farm- such beautiful forests, a lake to swim in and a short walk to pick blueberries and have tea at a café.

Everything exceeded our expectations. The setting on the river combined with the natural feel of the property transports one into another world. Thank you Heather for an amazing and memorable stay at Little Carthage.

We spent one night at the lodge. The staff stand out with his incredible hospitality and helpfulness. We felt very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is very tasty and the offer generous. We liked the surroundings and the gym also. We did not use the spa for time reasons, but it was great to have the possibility to do so. We highly recommend the lodge and would come back anytime. Thank you to all the staff for the great time!

As a journalist I've been fortunate to stay in, and review, a lot of different places in the South African bush and surrounds, but Tanya's spot has to be one of the most unique experiences one can have on Airbnb. The bush babies are really here, and if you wake up early enough you'll see them up close, doing bizarrely acrobatic things in the kitchen. (Who knew a bush baby could run on its hind legs across a roof beam.) This house is a haven for all kinds of creatures, and they make handsome company. BBH is impeccably furnished and comfortable, the wifi is fab and I'm amazed at how affordable all this is, given what one receives in return. No surprises, then, that this is my 'go-to' when I come to Hoedspruit. Kruger is an easy hop, skip and jump away, so the location is ideal. The estate itself is good for day walks: expect to see anything from giraffe to leopard. Tanya is a charming, unobtrusive host. Bravo Tanya, keep up the great work: BBH is an asset to SA's tourism industry.

We had two night stay with my family at unit upstairs.. Unit is very beautiful and picturesque. Location is very beautiful under extremely pleasant and calm environment. From R21, almost 6km drive on dirt road but there was no problem in driving with my sedan. We could not meet Frans but he made sure our comfort and guided us to visit local areas and restaurant .

Tranquil surroundings. Fun hiking/mtb routes along the river & through pine forest. Friendly service & tasty beer at the brewery.

A splendid stay on a working farm out in the countryside yet easy and convenient to access. Beautiful surroundings.

Clive is such a gem of a host, and was more than accommodating. He gave us ideas to do on Saturday to get out, we went to see his wedding venue on the property which was amazing. And he made us an amazing supper on Saturday night, and the breakfasts were just as delicious. We are definitely going to use Clive's place again.

This rustic home is extremely comfortable and set in a peaceful forest. The host is attentive and caretaker extremely helpful. This was truly a getaway worth taking.

Where do I even begin to review my stay with Tracey & Bernard. The location was so incredibly beautiful and private. However, I had the safety of a secure fence and Tracey & Bernard’s house behind the Airbnb. The home has everything you could need for your stay. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking and baking. And even AC and covered parking. The hosts could not have been more helpful and responsive with local spots to visit, a friendly chat, and delightful goodies on arrival. Not to mention that Bernard came and rescued me when my car broke down and got my daughter to her job the next morning since I couldn’t drive the car. They went so far above and beyond! You will not be disappointed with this booking. The location is ideal, the home is super clean, the grounds are lush and beautiful. You will be awoken to beautiful sunrises and birds chirping. And have delightful hosts. Truly everything an Airbnb should be and more! Thanks again Tracey & Bernard!

The reception staff was absolutely wonderful. Mr. Ayn was helpful and had a nice personality and was available around the clock. The place met all requirements, in addition to the fact that the place was very beautiful, the nature was stunning, and the accommodation was very comfortable. Always an excellent stay. Peaceful and in the forest!

The cabin is surrounded by beautiful , jaw dropping vistas. The cabin itself is cosy and lovely. There is a gas stove and a little inverter for charging your gadgets etc. it’s amazing for the price. Franco is a great host who was responsive and extremely helpful when needed.

We had the most wonderful stay at Anthill cottage. It is beautifully situated in the bush and has all the amenities you could wish for. We were well looked after by Lipton and Tuli. The cottage is with easy access to Orpan gate and activities to do in and around Hoedspruit. I can highly recommend a stay at the lovely accommodation
