Cabin vacation rentals in Moosehead Lake

We had a great weekend away with our pups being able to fish. Chrissy was excellent in responding, accommodating, and being flexible at all times. We will definitely be back!

The cabin is absolutely beautiful! Right on moosehead lake easy walk down to get right to fishing! If i had any questions peter was very helpful and had no problem answering me and even texted to make sure i was having a good stay! Would definitely recommend to anyone trying to get out to moosehead!

Beautiful location. Could hear the river. The snow was perfect as well! Best mattresses we’ve slept on for an Air bnb. Highly recommend!

Beautiful spot on Moosehead Lake. This was our first time at this location and would definitely would rent again. Spent a long weekend ice fishing with 11 guys. Plenty of space for the group and gear.

Excellent cabin that had everything we needed to feel right at home for our stay. We have used this cabin twice for our group and look forward to using it again next season if it’s available.

For our family vacation this was perfect. The kids can sled right on the property. Jay has lights along the trail for night sledding as well. We tried ice fishing for the first time and had fun with that. Our mission was for snowmobiling though, and this is a good starting point. Ride directly from the cabin without any hassles. Jay is a fantastic host. He happened to be staying at The Boathouse (next to The Bunkhouse) for a few days for his kids' school vacation, and he could not have been any friendlier. We are already looking forward to next year. The Bunkhouse is not the fanciest cabin on the lake, nor is it intended to be. It is designed for sleeping a good crowd of people who are motivated around outdoor activities. The wood stove makes returning to the cabin that much more enjoyable. The view of the lake and mountains is hard to beat, considering the tall pines surrounding the area. Overall, this was a great experience, and we would return again without thinking about it.

This is a beautiful getaway home in the woods. The view especially of the sunrise is spectacular. We loved being there.

We went to this cabin so that we could get some much needed relaxation and peace. It was beautiful and peaceful! Miranda even left us a gift for our anniversary ❤️ I would 100% return and have already raved about it to friends! Things to know: It is a distance from stores(however worth it!), so be sure to get some groceries on the way. Don’t be afraid of the solar power part, it did just fine and we were there in some dreary weather. The toilet is like the toilet in a nice camper (with the flap at the bottom) worked no problem though. This is truly a place you will enjoy with your significant other or family. We loved this beautiful location! Everything was super clean, bed were comfortable and the kitchen amazingly supplied! The place was quiet with a wonderful view!!

We had a great family stay for our weekend of skiing. The Moosehead Cottage Resort is perfectly located near Greenville and only a 10 minute drive to Big Moose Mountain. The staff was super friendly and made us feel at home. The cabin (#1) was cozy and beds were comfortable. Our kids had a lot of fun at the common pool and spa area. There is some deferred maintenance in that area, but everything was functional. We had a great stay and would stay there again in the future.

We spend two days at the cabin and driving around the surrounding towns. The scenery was amazing and returned to find 4 deer running through the area in front of the driveway. Things in the surrounding towns seem to be closed on Monday and Tuesday but when open everyone was so friendly and helpful. They were happy to talk about their town and how much they loved to live there. Brian was so helpful and responded to messages right away with helpful information. We are already planning our next trip up.

Spent a long weekend at this cute little cabin. My husband and I loved it so much, we wish we could buy it! I do wish there would have been a shower instead of just a bathtub and it was dog friendly. We would love to come back every year but we have a growing family and hate to leave our furry friends behind. Overall, beautiful location, peaceful, and quite. Perfect for a getaway!

Matthews Trailside Cabins are clean, very new, very comfortable and wisely set up. We stayed because we were arriving late and unsure of crossing MH lake at a late hour we would stay again if same circumstances occur.

We had a great few days at Moose Run Camp (we even saw a moose up the road!) The location is right on the main road between Milo and Millinocket which is a perfect location for easy access to facilities such as groceries and laundry whilst also being close to access the back country. The camp has all modern facilities such as television, wifi and hot water with a shower. It was a perfect compromise for us, between camping in the wilderness or staying in a town centre, as we were travelling from Europe and not able to bring all that is needed for a wilderness camp. The camp had soap, toilet paper, bedding and towels we really only needed to bring food and drinking water.

Bill, was exceptionally responsive to my emails. The lodge has many extras. Our stay was in early April and since it was mud season we were not able to use all that was offered such as the trails, swing set, fire pit, and grill. But that is Maine in April and we knew that. But those looking for those amenities they are there and available. Also the lodge would be perfect for those interested in hunting and fishing in the Milo area or just looking to get away to nature for a few days. Thank you Bill!

Really enjoyed spending winter snowmobiling with friends and relaxing in the nice cozy cabin.

Holly was extremely accommodating on such short notice. I had booked a hotel in Niagara months in advance of the solar eclipse, but, with only weeks before the event, changed plans and decided to drive up to Maine for viewing. I’m so glad I did. Was able to find Holly’s listing and book without hassle. Location is serene with beautiful views along the Kennebec River. Highly recommend! Thanks again for the gracious hospitality, Rich

This is our second year visiting Ralph and Kay’s cabin!! Beautiful, rustic cabin in the most peaceful area. We are looking forward to our future visits!!!
