We stayed at Sarah and Michael’s place for 5 nights with our daughter and it was such a great break. Sarah and Michael are fantastic hosts, they had lots of great suggestions about what to do in the local area and were very responsive to messages. The place itself is just as it looks in the pictures, and the setting is beautiful. Our daughter loved feeding the llamas and goats - a big highlight of the trip for her! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here to anyone looking for a peaceful break but with plenty to do within a short drive.

Mini farm stay so close to town

Sarah was an incredible host - so easy to communicate with and nothing was ever hassle. A really beautiful property that’s perfect for families - kids had the best time checking in on and feeding the animals, playing soccer with Ace and hanging out with their beautiful border collie. Such a shame we didn’t book more time to really relax and saviour the experience.

Max is the ideal host, responds to all messages in a timely manner. The property is located just out of town but feels like its many miles from anywhere. This property is ideal for a family getaway. Can't thank Max enough.

This is a lovely and comfortable property, privately in the bush but not far from Blackheath. We enjoyed the pizza oven, hot tub, bushwalks on the property and the lounges and day beds which were perfect to snuggle up on while enjoying the warmth from the fires. We had a minor issue with the gas hose to the pizza oven but communication with the owners was very prompt and we sorted things out quickly and with no hassles. The house is quite a groovy design with passive features which were interesting to understand. And the instruction book for guests was comprehensive - their guide to local activities, attractions and eateries was lengthy and very helpful. We'd happily come back some time...

The Shearer’s Cottage was absolutely beautiful. Very beautiful surrounds - so peaceful to wander around. It was great having a little fireplace too! Everything was very comfortable. Ryan was very helpful and friendly. The town was also close by if you needed anything. Would definitely stay again.

What a wonderful property and equally wonderful host. Sybilla's cottage is just perfect. Even though the house is cute as can be, Sybilla's attention to detail takes it to the next level. From the styling, to the abundance of firewood, coffee, linen - it's all top notch. And our dog had the best time exploring the enclosed garden! We are already looking forward to the next stay. Thanks Sybilla.

Melanie is a fantastic and attentive host. Her communication was outstanding and she responded within 20 Min to all my requests. Some of her responses were immediate. We stayed in the cottage and she came out personally from Bathurst (20 Min away) to greet us and settle is in. The property is located on a 1,000acre livestock farm and is quiet and peaceful. Not much to do on the farm itself but they have a games room and a hot tub available. A good place to get away for a few days
