We absolutely loved this place. It was peaceful after a hectic day on campus but not to far of a drive. We absolutely loved the goats and the donkeys and perfect location for our two Goldens. It’s no wonder Patty & Tom have such stellar reviews! Their cabin is one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in! Close to all Floyd has to offer, everything was meticulously thought of: fully stocked kitchen, extra blankets, water & snacks, and little touches -as a woman I really appreciated. I worked from the cabin the entire week, as the desk was the perfect spot to hold meetings and enjoy the view of the snow falling as well as the fireplace in the living room. Our bedroom was cozy, the period furniture all about the cabin adding a sense of whimsy. Each evening we cooked in the spacious, well equipped kitchen and enjoyed our meals at the dining room table. Best of all, Patty and Tom are gracious, kind, and the kind of hosts that Airbnb should strive for. We look forward to visiting Patty, Tom, and the Cabin again!

David’s farm cabin is so peaceful and is great place to getaway from the daily grind. The description is exactly what you see when you arrive, Bear and Hella Bella are there to greet you and welcome you to your stay. If you aren’t afraid to get to the country and drive through farm country on well maintained dirt road next to creek, up a small road to a quiet home, then it might not fit for you. But for me it was exactly what I needed, a wood stove for heat, nature all around and a host who is amazing. Highly recommend.

We have stayed with Parrish and Katie MULTIPLE TIMES for business purposes. We keep coming back for a variety of reasons: 1) Great, responsive hosts; 2) Comfortable spaces and well-appointed kitchen and bathroom; 3) Fast and reliable internet; 4) Washer/Dryer (especially important during the second week of a two-week travel session); and 5) Easy access to our customer. Parrish epitomizes a friendly and helpful host- engaging and available, but not intrusive. This was another great stay for us- Thank you.

This place is absolutely beautiful!! My family of four stayed here for a weekend trip and we hated to leave! The house is just as Ezekiel has described it. My two kids loved playing outside especially on the two really cool tree swings they have. The house is very dog friendly and Ezekiel went above and beyond to accommodate everything we needed. I definitely will be staying here again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Alina's home. The area was peaceful and beautiful. The home was clean and contained all the amenities you would want or need. We had plenty of room to spread out and relax. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and baking. We will definitely be back for another visit.

Nana's Place provided a great little place to get away for a long weekend. The themed decor was spot on as we found multiple items that our grandparents actually have. The house was clean, well appointed, and we loved the sunroom. The house is located right on Peppers Ferry Rd, so if you're sensitive to noise and light while sleeping, bring an eye mask and ear plugs because cars are traveling that road all night. Nana's Place is semiprivate as it is only one part of a house that is divided into three different sections - Nana's Place, another AirBnB type rental, and possibly a business/storage portion. The comedic moment that will bring a smile to your face is when you find the picture of Estelle Getty from the Golden Girls TV show.

Perfect home base for a college student who is in the process of moving between dorm and apartment. Very easy to find and clear instructions. I had a slight issue with the key code to begin with but the host was extremely helpful and I figured out how to use the lock. Very clean not too much noise and the view was really nice after a long day of classes.

This was a perfect spot to stay while visiting my Hokies. It’s a peaceful setting and an easy drive to campus. There is a train nearby, but it wasn’t frequent and at night it was so muffled that it was not an issue. There are some pretty trail lights that may bother light sensitive sleepers, so bring an eye mask if this is you. I loved the blooming redbuds and the singing whippoorwill! The home is well stocked with thoughtful amenities and the heating/cooling worked beautifully. Thank you, Kathy!

We were looking for a nice dog friendly getaway on the river and this hit the mark. It was great to relax on the big back lawn and splash around in the river. We walked over to grab tubes next door and enjoyed the float. The amenities are as described, certainly enough to meet basic needs but not "excessive" or "luxury" - and that's fine by me. We expected the train and beds as potential drawbacks - so were fully aware of what we were signing up for - and in the end it wasn't that bad. I'd be happy to come back for another visit!

We had a great time staying here. It was the perfect setting to convene three households with small children. The open floorplan was great to let the kids run around. Also, they loved the bunkbeds! The game room in the basement gave us all something to do during one day of bad weather. The view from the deck out onto the lake is picturesque. Rodney and Company were incredible hosts. Very responsive. Also, the home was delivered to us in immaculate condition. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful lake house! We hope to come back next year!

What a special getaway spot for Hokie fans! The house was clean, spacious and full of fun Virginia Tech memorabilia. We had a wonderful family gathering with everything there that we could ever need. The best part of our stay were the views. Seeing the mountains right outside was breathtaking. James was a wonderful host. Very friendly and great communicator. We hope to return for another visit.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay. This home has great views & is a nice place for peaceful walks. It had a nice area for our grandkids to play with a pool table, pinball & many games. There is a well-stocked kitchen. There is ample living space & the master bedroom/bathroom are very nice. The gas fireplaces provided a cozy, warm atmosphere on cold days. Henry was a very friendly, accommodating & responsive host. We enjoyed meeting him. Our family gathered here from all over the US & enjoyed our time here together very much!

Beautiful home and very spacious. Was perfect for our big family. We made great memories! We spent the first day playing in the snow, and then warmed up by one of 3 fire places. Crystals home was clean and stocked with everything we could possibly need. Would definitely stay here again!

The mill was a perfect place for us. We love history and the setting was beautiful. For such an old structure we found it to be warm,cozy, beautiful and very comfortable. The floor to ceiling windows were wonderful. We enjoyed taking our E bikes out even at 43*! Very scenic and little to no traffic on the road. Such a gem! Many thanks to the hosts for creating a lovely getaway and sharing it with the rest of us!

Thank you for a lovely and peaceful stay! The place and atmosphere is beautiful and serene. We especially loved the amazing out of this world dream shower!! The shower alone was worth the stay. I mean you gotta see this amazing spa like shower. Also the host was very kind and attentive and genuine. As far as I'm concerned this is a "must stay" if traveling thru the area. Thanks guys.
