Our stay at Angela's place was excellent! The house is great, it consists of multiple buildings and different areas. This was a perfect place when travelling with teenagers. Great pool area, everything neat and a very well equipped kitchen and central hang-out area. Torregrotta is an authentic, unpolished, quiet town, away from the tourist crowds and very close to cute mountain villages. The town itself has shops to get basic necessities and some good local products. Teenagers were happy with pool area and house, but town was a little quiet to their taste. We loved exploring the area, for which the town is an excellent starting point. You definitely need a car though! Angela is a top host. 5 stars for her pro active communication and hospitality, even from a distance. Care takers Donata and Paolo get 5 stars as well. They were available for any advice or technical support with the house! Can wholeheartedly recommend this house if you are looking to explore N.E. Sicily!

We had a great time at Pietro's place. Warm welcome. The place at the heart of nature is wonderful... The pool is great... The tomatoes, cucumbers... from the garden are extraordinary. We recommend this wonderful place. Thanks also to the shepherd for his delicious cheese and for his kindness.

Casale Ragusa a beautiful little summer house with fantastic views of the mountains and the sea as well as your very own private pool. Nino and Sabrina were wonderful hosts, always availible to help with any questions or queries I had. They even shared some delicious food that they had prepared for their family with me. Genuinely felt right at home here. The home is very modern and clean with most amenities you would require for a short stay. There are a few stores in the immediate area, however a car would be best reccomended to get to and from these places. The gated entrance to the home is on a very steep gradient which is virtually impossible to drive over without grazing the underside of your car. Those driving a low vehicle should approach with caution.

The castle is beautiful, a real museum. The pool is huge, and the decor is sublime. We felt very good there! Just know that the guards are omnipresent, but adorable: they come to clean every 3 days to maintain the castle. The only downside: the caretakers do not speak English at all (nor French). This has prevented us from understanding the air conditioning mechanism that is to be paid at the end of the stay, which is €400 for a week. We hope for the next one that an explanatory note in English will be put in place to avoid this kind of misunderstandings …

We loved the house and Mariacatena was a sublime host. The landscape is amazing, so if you like peace and quiet around you, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, oh and how about a view to an active volcano with your afternoon glass of wine, it's fantastic and still within short distances to many other beautiful places to visit. We would highly recommend this place. The house is cosy and well equipped, but to be honest, we spent most time on the terraces.

Graziella and Antonio are very welcoming and responsive and made us feel like family. Graziella greeted us and gave us a thorough tour of the house and the grounds. The Villa is well equipped and spacious with a stunning view of the Strait of Messina and Sicily. The Villa is located minutes from the city of Reggio and easy access to other towns in the region. We had an amazing time and hope to return one day.

Claudia and Giuseppe were kind and helpful from the time of booking until check-out. The accommodation internally is intimate and cute, complete with all the necessary comforts. It is also well furnished and full of typical Sicilian phrases and design objects that make everything even more welcoming. Last, but not least, the terrace that surrounds the house and offers a breathtaking view of the strait and is perfect for relaxation and aperitifs/dinners when the weather allows it. Highly recommended

Lovely house with a beautiful pleasant terrace for eating out. The beach at less than 10 min walking is superb. It's all about walking in Letojanni. Free street parking. A little noise as the house is located between the highway access of Messina/Catania and the railway. Ideal stay close to beautiful Taormina. Perfect communication with Renata/Federica.

Domus Austria is a cozy little house on the seafront in a quiet area of ​​Messina and has the most beautiful sunset in the world! Communication with the host is perfect and check in was very smooth with the help of Maria Rita, the friendliness in person. I would have liked to have stayed longer to enjoy the beach better and sleep listening to the noise of the sea more nights.

The stay was perfect. The place is really really good and very close to the supermarket. The house is also spacefull and comfortable.

Large house, we wanted a place to stay among local people, which was fulfilled, the neighbors are very nice, everyone has gardens around, we got a lot of great citrus from them. There are plenty of cafes, bars, and shops in the town that are open even during the winter. You buy everything you need here, you don't have to go to a bigger city. We'd love to come back if we can.

We received a particularly warm welcome in the lovely house right on the beach. Friends of Enzo were ready with extensive information and a nice bottle of rosé (thanks Ewa and Salvatore!). The supermarket and a great coffee shop are in walking distance. The house is not particularly luxuriously furnished but you are not often there. On the beach, on the balcony or under the house in the shade it is very nice! The air conditioning in every room works great. The train comes close to the house a few times an hour, but at night it does not run. Then it's nice and quiet. We definitely recommend the house!

Carmelo was superhost. He and his family was very kind and helpful. The flat was comfortable we went four of as and could sleep well.

Great position, good responsiveness by the host. The house has amenities that make the vacation comfortable and all the services are very close. The beach it’s less than 5 minutes far.

This was a wonderful place in which to spend several days exploring beautiful Reggio Calabria and Sicily. Our hostess and host were exceptional - extraordinarily generous and kind. We were showered with thoughtful gifts of eggs, fruit, fresh picked vegetables from their garden and a bottle of their home-made wine (which was excellent). They were patient with our questions and were a fount of local insights and knowledge. Over decades of travel, they rank at the very top of the hosts that we have met. The house was immaculate, modern and very well appointed and lived up to every one of our expectations. It is on the edge of a small village and was serene and peaceful. The house is located outside of Reggio Calabria and close to the ferries to Sicily in Villa San Giovanni. A car is strongly recommended to enable local travel and trips to Sicily (which are very easy to arrange). All in all, an exceptional stay. Thank you!!!!

Ester was very patient and understanding. The apartment is very stylish and quiet. Breathtaking view and a lot of space. The sea is only accessible by transport, so make sure you come with a car or otherwise you'll have to take the bus.

A very clean and charming property set in a very peaceful village. Plenty of places to walk and enjoy the scenery. Church bells sound every quarter or an hour and are so nice. A short drive away from shopping centre or the sea. The landlords are very polite and helpful. We enjoyed it every time we visited and stayed there. Will come back again. Thank you Giuseppe.

By far the favorite accommodation of our 3-week trip through Italy. The place is huge and extremely comfortable for our 6 person group - 3 adults and 3 children. With a fully gated private yard, our car was secure and kids safe playing without supervision. Panoramic views of Sicily and nearby beaches, hikes and town of Scilla made this location much better than expected. We prepared ourselves two home cooked meals and was the perfect opportunity to recharge after being on the go. The hosts greeted us with such a warm and energetic welcome. We could have easily stayed for much longer and explored the local area more. Thank you!!

We had a very nice time in Letojanni. The apartment is in a calm surrounding but close to everywhere. Bus station for any trips is like a 3 min walk. A supermarket and bakery are literally in front of the door as is the beach. We enjoyed our holiday and would recommend 100%! From check in to check out we had no problems with Valeria. Everything went well.

We stayed 2 nights in Adele's apartment. The area is very nice, the valley is cultivated with citrus and olive trees and a few steps away are archaeological remains and the Monastery of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paolo d 'Agrò. At 5 km there are seaside resorts, with parking and free beaches. We highly recommend this place to those looking for tranquility and a bit of Sicilian history. The hosts were great, super welcoming and always available. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. An experience we recommend!
